
The 101st New York State American Legion Championship is coming to Rochester for the second year in a row. Greece Post 468 will host the tournament at Penfield High School. Action begins with four games on Saturday, July 25 and the final game will be held on Wednesday, July 29th where a champion will be crowned. Complete Schedule and bracket of the NYS Tournament. HISTORY: Kingston-Saugerties returns to the state tournament for the first time in four years after defeating the Orange County Outlaws, 3-1 in the District 9 championship.
What’s at stake: A spot in the Northeast Regional Tournament. The New York State champion will advance in the national tournament and play in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts starting on Wednesday, August 5th. The American Legion World Series will take place in Shelby, North Carolina.
