Sam Roselli tossed five one-hit innings and retired six batters on strikes to help Cottreall-Warner advance to the District Championship. Cottreall-Warner broke out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning. Conor Forkey got the scoring started with an RBI single that scored Tyler Estelle before Henry Shutts smacked an RBI that scored Sam Nick. The next at-bat, Garrett McNeil placed a two-RBI double into left field that scored Forkey and Roselli to make it 4-0. Max Caron capped off the inning with an RBI double that scored McNeil. Nick finished 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI, and two runs. Caron doubled, singled, had two RBI, and scored a run. Shutts singled twice, plated a pair of runners, and scored. Nicholas Rene doubled, walked, and scored. Forkey crossed home plate once in addition to his RBI single. Ryan Merlo had a base hit. Drew Gruba finished the game in relief with two strikeouts over a no-hit inning. Grady Rogers singled for James Cooke Post. Robbie Langdon walked three times. Matty Eygabroad, John Swartz, and Brayden Ricigliano each walked once. Brandon Wilson tossed six innings and struck out two batters.
