QUARTER-FINALS

No. 5 ELY FAGAN POST 1151 (9-8) 4
No. 4 JAMES COOKE POST 931 (9-7) 8
Brayden Ricigliano went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the quarter-final win against No. 4 James Cooke Post. Ricigliano lined an RBI single in the bottom of the first and took advantage of a three-base error to score on the play. John Swartz and Nick Kreigelstein also crossed home on the same sequence to stake the 931 to a 4-0 lead. Ricigliano pitched a complete game while fanning five. Swartz went 1-3 at the plate with an RBI and a walk, delivering a line drive single in the bottom of the first. Kreigelstein went 1-3 with the run and added a walk. Alex Long stood 2-3 at the plate with an RBI single in the bottom of the first. Robbie Langdon went 1-3 for James Cooke Post, crossing home in the bottom of the first. Matty Eygabroad singled and scored in the first. Grady Rogers singled and drew a walk, adding runs for the 931 in the first and third. Matthew Lanning went 2-2 at the plate. Jack Welch crossed home in the bottom of the sixth. Oliver Wright led Ely Fagan Post, going 2-3 with two RBI and runs. Wright delivered a two-run double to center and scored later in the 7th. Austin Yageric went 3-4 at the plate with two RBI, delivering RBI singles in the third and seventh with another hit in the sixth. Mitchell Nieves went 2-4 at the plate, doubling in the second and singling in the fourth for the 1151. Hayden Hodgeman went 1-3 at the dish with a run scored in the seventh. Dylan Savage went 1-3 at the plate, adding a hit in the sixth. Landon Brown reached ona hit by pitch and score in the seventh. Derek VanAuker started and tossed 5 and 2/3 innings, striking out five.



No. 7 EAST ROCHESTER POST 1917 (6-11) 7
No. 3 CHILI POST 1830 (11-5) 4
Noah Wollschleger went 1-2 with two RBI, a walk, and a run scored to help East Rochester advance to the American Legion New York State District 7 semifinals. Wollschleger sliced an RBI single to right in the top of the seventh, jumping East Rochester Post to a decisive 7-2 lead. Wollschleger crossed home in the second and pitched one inning in relief. Sean Griffin drove in a pair of runs with a single in the second inning when East Rochester grabbed a 4-0 lead. Ryan LaRocco added a two-run double in the frame and later scored in the seventh. Nolan Russell started and struck out six over six innings to pick up the win. Wollschleger worked a scoreless seventh inning. Alex Wright went 2-4 on the day, scoring in the fifth and seventh. Colin DiCicco worked two walks and crossed home in the second. Liam White-Scuderi drew a pair of walks. Emmett Tehan added two walks at the dish and crossed home in the second. Max Bowers also drew a base on balls in the win. Jamie Derleth went 1-3 with an RBI for Chili Post, delivering an RBI single in the fourth. Bruce Hanna added an RBI groundout. Josh Miner singled and scored. Max Spitz went 1-2 with a pair of walks. Aaron Reina added a walk and an RBI sacrifice fly in the seventh. Landon Bryan added a walk and a run in the fourth. Parker Farnham and Lucas Karelus also drew walks. Jackson Oliveri added an RBI sacrifice fly in the seventh. Kal Whelehan went 1-3 on the day, crossing home in the third. Jayden Jager added a walk and a run in the effort for Chili Post, crossing home in the seventh. Quintyn Whipple also walked twice.

SEMI-FINALS

No. 7 EAST ROCHESTER POST 1917 (7-11) 5
No. 1 GREECE POST 468 (13-3) 6 (F/9)
Nate Brinza drew a bases-loaded two-out walk to force in the winning run, and Greece Post walked off with a win in Game 1 of the American Legion New York State District 7 semifinals. Brinza went 1-for-2 with 2 RBI and a run scored in the win. He worked a seven-pitch base on balls sending Noah Deitz home with the game winner. Brinza delivered an RBI sacrifice fly in the first to center to help the 468 pull ahead 2-0. Jake Weber stood 2-4 with an RBI single in the fifth, and crossed home in the first to put Greece Post on the board. Weber also slung 2 and 2/3 scoreless innings in relief, fanning four. Ethan Postle held the 468 through 4 and 1/3 innings, striking out 11. Parker Goodness went 1-3 at the plate with a walk and an RBI single in the first, scoring later in the inning. Logan DeMember was 2-5 in the box, coming in to score in the fifth off a wild pitch. Aidan Kress went 1-3 with a walk in the fourth. Wesley Sturrup drove in an RBI in the fourth off a sacrifice fly to center. Ryan DeJoy and Deitz added had a hit apiece. Quinn Hanrahan walked and crossed home in the fifth. Eli Charatz tossed two innings in the start for East Rochester Post, striking out two. Colin DiCicco led the 1917, going 3-5 with two RBI singles in the third and sixth. Max Bowers hit 2-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Noah Wollschleger stood 2-5 at the plate with an RBI single to right in the third. Wollschleger also struck out two over seven innings of relief. Ryan LaRocco singled and drove in a run. Colin Miller singled, walked and scored. Emmett Tehan walked and scored in the third. Alex Wright added a base hit.



No. 4 JAMES COOKE POST 931 (9-8) 2
No. 2 COTTREALL-WARNER POST 942 (12-4) 10

Brady Sayers finished 2-for-4 with six RBI to lead Cottreall-Warner in Game 1 of the American Legion New York State District 7 semifinals. Sayers staked the 942 to a 4-0 lead with a one-out grand slam in the fourth inning. Sayers delivered again in the fifth with a two-out, two-run single to put the 942 up 6-2. Dylan Dumont started and struck out nine over six innings of work to pick up the win. Dumont allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks. Connor Smith fanned three and retired all three batters he faced in a scoreless innning of work. Conor Forkey stood 2-3 at the plate with a run scored. Henry Shutts went 2-4, scoring runs in the fourth and fifth. Garrett McNeil singled, walked and scored a run. Max Caron went 1-2 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored. Tyler Estelle singled and also drove in a run with an RBI fielder’s choice. Nick Rene walked three times and scored a run. Sam Roselli singled and scored. Sam Nick worked a walk in the win. Matty Eygabroad led the way for James Cooke Post, going 2-3 with hits in the third and fifth. Peyton Ridley notched an RBI in the fifth off a sacrifice fly. Robbie Langdon singled and scored. Alex Long walked twice and scored in the fifth.
