ELY FAGAN POST 1151 (6-6) 3
IRONDEQUOIT POST 134 (4-8) 1 (F/5)

Three runs in the first two innings were enough for Ely Fagan Post 1151 in the first game of a doubleheader. Up 1-0 in the top of the second inning, Jacob Sova led with a single and later scored the eventual game-winning run on a Landon Brown base hit. On the mound, Sova struck out three and allowed one hit over 3 2/3 shutout innings in relief. Brown finished 2-for-2 with a run scored in the win. Ryan Lewin went 2-2 on the night with a walk, RBI and run scored. Caiden Richards was 2-3 with a triple and an RBI. Austin Yageric also had a hit in the win. Eamon Smith singled, walked twice and drove in the Irondequoit Post run. Connor Welker drew a walk and scored. Vinnie D’Agostino added a hit for the 134. Brayden Delly drew a pair of walks Xzavier Hughey and Tommy VanGorder also received free passes. Aaden Bishop finished with three strikeouts over five innings of work.

ELY FAGAN POST 1151 (6-6) 2 (F/5)
Anthony Ortiz drew a bases-loaded walk to force Xzavier Hughey home with the winning run as Irondequoit Post rallied in its final at-bat to salvage a doubleheader split. Trailing 2-1, Tommy VanGorder led the fifth with his second hit of the night. Hughey and Eamon Smith drew back-to-back one-out walks before Aaden Bishop reached on a hit by pitch to bring home VanGorder with the tying run. With two out and down two strikes in the count, Ortiz worked the count full before drawing the pass and bringing in Hughey for the the final margin of victory. Vinnie D’Agostino struck out seven over full five innings of work. D’Agostino scattered two hits and three walks without allowing an earned run. VanGorder finished 2-for-2 with an RBI. Ortiz went 1-for-2 with a run scored as well. Jayden Inglese and Connor Welker both recorded a hit as well. For Ely Fagan, Ryan Lewin was 1-3 with an RBI. Mathew Turner and Austin Yageric each recorded a hit. Yageric gave the 1151 a 2-1 in the third when he scored as part of a double steal. Jacob Sova and Dylan Savage drew a walk apiece. Sova started and struck out three without issuing a walk nor allowing an earned run over three innings. Hayden Hodgeman also fanned three over two innings of relief.

COTTREALL-WARNER POST 942 (8-2) 9
BRAMAN POST 1229 (6-5) 1

Conor Forkey and Nick Rene finished with three hits apiece as Cottreall-Warner Post ran its winning streak to four games. Rene led the fourth with a single and eventually scored the first of three runs as the 942 pulled away from a two-run game. Rene went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the win. Forkey was 3-3 with two walks and a run scored. Connor Smith started and struck out three without issuing a walk over four innings to pick up the win. Smith scattered five hits and did not allow an earned run. Max Caron and Garrett McNeil both scored twice in the win including a run apiece in the third to give C-W a 3-1 lead. Sam Nick went 2-5 with an RBI and a run scored in the win. Henry Shutts was 2-3 and scored a run. Shutts also fanned two over two scoreless innings of relief. Caron singled and walked. Brady Sayers finished with 2 RBI. Drew Gruba closed the game, tossing a scoreless inning with one strikeout. Joey Bianchi finished 2-for-3 with and an RBI for Braman Post. Elliott Johnson, Landen Belliard, Kayden Yapjoco, Ethab Light, and Brady Wadsworth all recorded a hit, with Wadsworth scoring the only run on the night for the 1229. Dominic Denecke recorded two strikeouts in three innings pitched. Johnson tossed three innings, recording six strikeouts. Belliard closed the game for Braman, giving up a single run.

GREECE POST 1830 (4-2) 7
EAST ROCHESTER POST 1917 (4-6) 0

Jake Weber went 3-for-4 with a home run and a pair of doubles to lead Greece Post. Weber connected on his round-tripper to start the scoring in the first inning. He went on to score two more runs in the win. Parker Goodness and Quinn Hanrahan each scored in the second inning off a Logan DeMember double to make the score 4-0. DeMember finished 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored once for Greece. Nate Brinza and Kyle Markham both went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Wesley Sturrup finished 2-for-4 with a run scored, and Goodness went 1-for-3 with a run scored. DeMember was 2-4 with two doubles. Evan Fitzpatrick singled and drove in a run. Cam Barbulean pitched a complete game for Greece, striking out 11 batters and giving up two hits. Sean Griffin and Colin DiCicco both recorded a hit for East Rochester.

FERRIS GOODRIDGE 330 (4-7) 2
CHILI POST 1830 (7-3) 4

Bobby Rule Jr. took over on the mound with the tying run on base, two outs in the sixth and retired the first batter he faced before setting down the side in order in the seventh as Chili Post put together back-to-back wins. Rule struck out one to record his first save of the season. Jayden Jager scored the go-ahead run for Chili Post 1830 in the bottom of the second off a passed ball. Rule advanced on the same play and scored in the following at-bat off an RBI ground out from Quintyn Whipple. Rule doubled and drove in James Derleth to tie score at two earlier in the inning. Whipple and Max Spitz had a hit apiece. Jager reached base twice via walks. Bruce Hanna started and struck out five batters over 5 and 2/3 innings pitched. Sam Hopkins and James Gropp each finished with a hit for Ferris Goodridge. Jack Lander and Andrew Lamberton scored the runs for the 330. Zack Mattice finished with six strikeouts over 5 and 2/3 innings.
