Dylan Dumont struck out 10 and hurled five innings of perfect ball, and the Cottreall-Warner bats exploded for eight runs in its final at-bat. Dumont did not allow a ball out of the infield and picked up his first win of the season. Sam Nick led the offense with two RBI, three hits and two runs scored, including a leadoff single to spark the eight-run fifth inning that saw 10 batters come to the plate. Sam Roselli drove in the first run of the fifth on a double that scored Nick. Conor Forkey drew a walk in the next at-bat then Garrett McNeil connected on an RBI single to make it 4-0. Forkey stole home while Max Caron was at the plate who then drew a walk. Parker Carley singled in the next at-bat to drive in another run, making it a six-run game. Drew Gruba grounded into an RBI fielder’s choice where Caron beat the throw home and score while everyone was safe. In the next at-bat Nick Rene, who went 3-for-3, hit a two-run double to extend the lead to nine. Nick’s second at-bat of the inning ended the game with an RBI single to make it 10-0. Nick also drove in the first run of the game on a single in the first inning. Forkey hit a sacrifice fly in the third inning where Nick scored to drive in the second run of the game. Roselli was 2-3. Brady Sayers also had a hit in the win.

Nick Rene led the way going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI as Cottreall-Warner won its third straight and fifth in the past six games. Rene brought home the first of a seven-run second inning that saw 10 batters come to the plate and gave the 942 an early lead it not surrender. Jake DiCicco started the game on the mound pitching two innings and striking out four batters. Tyler Gordner relieved DiCicco and pitched four innings, struck out four batters and allowed one run. Max Caron led off the second inning drawing a walk. Drew Gruba reached on an error. Pete Hoffman followed with another base on balls before Rene took a bases-loaded walk to drive in the first of the seven runs for Cottreall-Warner. A single from Tyler Estelle drove in another run in the following at-bat. Sam Nick singled to bring in a run, and Sam Roselli hit a sacrifice fly to make it 5-0. Conor Forkey reached on a hit by a pitch, and Garrett McNeil brought home Nick with an RBI groundout. Forkey scored on an error for the final run of the inning. Forkey singled and plated Rene with the first run of the game. The 942 scored four more runs in the sixth inning that started with walks by Nick and Roselli, the runners advanced on a wild pitch then Forkey hit a sacrifice fly to drive in a run. Rayson Miller’s Tyler Potter drove in a run on a single in the fifth inning. Jack Edelstein had two hits and scored a run. Josiah Martin, Edelstein, Potter, and Caleb Celso all had multiple hits in the game for Rayson Miller.

Cole Dougherty struck out four and scattered four hits in a complete-game effort to lead East Rochester. Max Bowers led the offense with three RBI going 3-for-3 at the plate and scored a run and drove in the first run of the game on a single in the first inning. East Rochester scored four runs in the second inning when Emmett Tehan singled, Ryan LaRocco singled, and Bowers drove another run with a base hit. Alex Wright connected on one his two doubles in the following at-bat driving in another run. Liam White-Scuderi hit a bases-clearing single driving in two more runs to make it a five-run game. The final two runs for East Rochester came in the fifth inning when Donovan Kindberg led off with a walk, Sean Griffin reached on an error and LaRocco loaded the bases after taking a walk. Bowers then brought in a run with a sacrifice fly. Wright doubled scoring the final run. LaRocco finished 3-3 while Wright was 3-4. White-Scuderi was 2-4. For James Cooke, Matthew Lanning, Brayden Ricigliano, Dylan Chudner, Alex Long, Dom Anzalone had a hit apiece. Peyton Ridley drew two walks.

Brayden Craig pitched a complete game and struck out six batters to lead James Cooke. Zach Craib and Dylan Chudner both had two RBI. Craib went 1-for-2. James Cooke was the first to strike scoring five runs in the third inning. Dom Anzalone led off with a walk, Matthew Lanning singled and Nick Kriegelstein walked loading the bases. Robbie Langdon drove in the first run after getting hit by a pitch. Matty Eygabroad drove in another run after taking a walk, Grady Rogers took a walk scoring another run. Jack Crabbe took another bases-loaded walk driving in their fourth run of the inning. Dylan Chudner drove in the last run of the inning on a fielder’s choice that scored Eygabroad. In the following inning, East Rochester scored four more runs. Kreigelstein led off with a double, Langdon walked and Craib hit a bases clearing double making it 7-3. Eygabroad singled in the next at-bat, then Crabbe was hit by a pitch to load the bases when Craib scored on an error by the catcher. Chudner grounded out and Eygabroad scored for the final run of the game. In the loss, Alex Wright and Colin DiCicco both had RBIs, and DiCicco went 2-2. Ryan LaRocco, Max Bowers and Wright all had a hit and scored a run.
