Sam Roselli scattered two hits and two walks while striking out seven over five shutout innings as Cottreall-Warner won for the third time in the past four games. Roselli worked out of a two-on, one-out jam in the third before retiring eight of the last nine batters he faced. Cottreall-Warner had one extra base hit, a double off the bat of Drew Gruba in the bottom of the third inning to score Henry Shutts from first base to break the scoreless tie. After reaching on a single in the sixth, then advancing on a wild pitch and sacrifice bunt, Gruba came home on a Tyler Estelle single to extend the lead to 2-0. The third baseman finished the night going 2-for-2. Shutts was 1-for-2 with the run scored. Estelle went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Connor Smith recorded the save in two innings of work while striking out one. For Chili, the 1830’s lone run came off the bat of Bruce Hanna, an RBI groundout that scored Andrew McManus, who reached on a pinch-hit single. Quintyn Whipple finished 1-for-2 with a walk. Jackson Oliveri was 1-for-2, and Lucas Karelus went 1-for-3.

Jack Edelstein finished 2-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases, and two runs scored as Rayson Miller won back-to-back games. The second baseman scored in the bottom of the first to knot the score at two and again in the bottom of the third when he stole home to give the 899 a 4-2 lead. CJ Wheaton went 1-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored, one of which gave Rayson Miller a 3-2 lead when he crossed home on a fielder’s choice. Owen Kearney struck out eight over four innings without allowing an earned run to pick up the win. The Rayson Miller starter allowed four hits and one walk. Josh Pearson fanned two and retired all three batters he faced to register a save. Pearson also drew walk, scored and added an RBI in the win. Nathan Markevicz set down four on strikes over two inning of relief. At the plate, Markevicz singled and scored on an Edelstein base hit. For Ely Fagan, Oliver Wright went 2-4 with two runs scored. Austin Yageric singled and scored twice. Caden Richards was 1-for 2 with an RBI and a walk. Landon Brown went 1-for-2 with a run scored, while Jacob Sova recorded a walk and an RBI.
