Matthew Lanning went 2-for-4 with two RBI including a run-scoring double in the sixth inning when James Cooke Post sent 12 to the plate and erased a five-run deficit. Trailing 7-2, Matt Eygabroad drew a walk to lead the inning, and Brayden Ricigliano singled. Eygabroad crossed home on a wild pitch to start the scoring in the frame. Peyton Ridley reached on a base on balls, and Dom Anzalone brought in another run with an RBI groundout. Robbie Langdon cut the deficit to two with a base hit. Nick Kriegelstein worked a two-out walk before Lanning tied the game at 7-7 with a double. In the next at-bat John Swartz (2-3, R, RBI) drove in the go-ahead run with a double of his own to give the 931 its first lead of the game, and one they did not surrender. Ricigliano (2-4, run, RBI) capped off the outburt with an RBI double to make it 10-7. James Cooke did not score until the fifth inning when Zach Carib singled and Anzalone (1-3, run, RBI) came home on an error. Langdon singled, walked and scored twice in the win. Ricigliano struck out four over four shutout innings of relief in the win. Eygabroad went 1-3, drove in a run, and scored twice. For Rayson Miller Post, Preston Granger went 2-4 with four RBI. Granger capped a four-run first with a base hit that scored two. The Rayson Miller third baseman added a two-run home run in the third to stake the 899 to a 7-0 lead. Nate Bondi was 2-4 with a run scored. CJ Wheaton doubled, walked twice and scored twice. Jack Edelstein was 1-3 with a double, walk, RBI and a run scored. Josh Pearson and Josiah Martin both singled, drove in a run and scored. Owen Kearney started and struck out eight over five innings of work.

EAST ROCHESTER POST 1917 (1-0) 8
Liam White-Scuderi started the scoring early for East Rochester with a two-run double in the first inning. Later that inning, East Rochester added another run when White-Scuderi stole home. Colin Miller delivered an RBI single in the third inning to make it a 4-1 ball game. White-Scuderi stole home again in the third inning to make it 5-1. Alex Wright went 2-for-3, scored twice, and drove in two runs. Wright hit a two-run single in the fourth to add onto the lead. Max Bowers (2-3, run, RBI) drove in the final run for East Rochester on a sacrifice fly that scored Emmett Tehan. Drew Calabrese pitched four and two third innings allowing three runs on three hits. Colin DiCocco finished the game going 1.1 innings without allowing a base runner. In the loss, Brayden Delly went 2-3 with an RBI for Irondequoit.
