Kendall and Section VII Ticonderoga will meet this weekend with the winner securing a spot in the Class C state title game. Here’s the breakdown:

How they arrived here: Kendall started its run with an 11-0 win over Byron-Bergen and then defeated Perry 7-0 in the Class C2 semifinals. In the championship, the Eagles took down Genesee Valley-Belfast by a score of 3-1 to win a Section V title. The Eagles beat Gananda 6-3 in the regional qualifier game to book a spot in the sub-regional. There, Kendall won 8-0 over Gowanda (VI). In the state quarterfinals, the Eagles walked it off against Beaver River (III) in a 1-0 win. Ticonderoga won a best of three against Moriah to win the Section VII Class C championship and then beat Tupper Lake 12-3 in the state quarterfinals to secure its spot in the state semifinals.
