Down to their final out, Ryan LaRocco delivered a two-RBI single with and then scored himself to give Webster Schroeder the lead in the top of the seventh inning. The Warriors advance to take on Hamburg (VI) on Tuesday. READ MORE.

Haverling held off a late rally, and advances to play Medina (VI) on Tuesday for a spot in the state quarterfinals. READ MORE.

CLASS C

GANANDA (19-3) 3
KENDALL (21-2) 6
Luca D’Agostino doubled, singled, and scored twice, while CJ D’Agostino had six strikeouts over four and two third innings and an RBI triple as Kendall plated four runners in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally for the win. Luca D’Agostino led off the pivotal frame with a double before Andrew Cole got hit by a pitch to put two runners on. Vincent D’Agostino connected on a ball that ended up scoring the two men on after an error by Gananda. Later in the frame, Mikey Colucci connected on an RBI single that scored Jacob Abrams to make it 5-3. Abrams ended up scoring to cap off the ending on a wild pitch. Abrams added a triple and walked twice. Jonny Conte singled, scored, and walked. Vincent D’Agostino pitched two and a third scoreless innings of relief and struck out two batters. Gananda trailed 2-1 entering the fifth inning, but an RBI single by Maddox Stoughton and Brady Wadsworth taking home on a passed ball gave the Blue Panthers the lead. Henry Shutts walked twice and scored, and also pitched six innings and struck out eight batters. Stoughton ended 2-for-4. Wadsworth and Owen Switzer each doubled and scored. Will Schneemann had an RBI single. Jackson Giancursio and Mason Mangers each walked. Kendall advances to take on Gowanda (VI) in the Class C sub-regional on Tuesday.
