One squad has won six of its past seven games and just won its first sectional title in a decade. The other has won eight of their past nine outings and is coming off of a walk-off sectional win.

Webster Schroeder and Canandaigua have each already won sectional championships. The Monroe County foes will meet on Monday for a chance to qualify for the Class AA state tournament. Here’s the breakdown:

How they arrived here: Webster Schroeder got past Greece Olympia/Odyssey 4-0 before knocking off cross-town rival Webster Thomas 2-0 in the AA1 semifinals. In the title game, the Warriors took down Hilton by a score of 3-1 in extra innings. Canandaigua started its run with an 11-3 win over Gates-Chili before beating Brighton 11-1 to book a spot in the AA2 championship game.
