FRIDAY’S GAMES

AQUINAS (8-0) 25
OUR LADY OF MERCY (6-2) 0
Aquinas’ Bles’ng Muhammad returned an interception for a touchdown and also took a punt 45 yards for another score. Muhammad also caught seven passes for 75 yards and pulled 12 flags, including a sack. AJ Orr completed 14-of-30 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Orr rushed for a touchdown and an extra point. The senior also pulled a flag and came down with an interception. Jaden Deming rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown and also recorded a flag pull and an interception. Carlé Thomas (8), Julianna Shannon (4, with a sack), and Kymarah Scott (3) also contributed flag pulls.

WAYNE (5-1) 25
Bailey Cook led Wayne with 147 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Addi Habecker also scored twice – completing a touchdown pass and running in a score. Sydney Howard scored a touchdown as part of a 75-yard rushing day, while Lily Malcolm added an extra point. Penny Hargrove led Wayne defensively with three interceptions.

Lily Chambers-Silva’s pick-six was the only scoring in the game as East Rochester stayed perfect. Sloan Slowinski led the Bombers with five flag pulls, while Chambers-Silva, Payton Kinney, and Mia Rountree each had four. Kinney and Amiria Burroughs both had a sack.

Paige Dean ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns while also returning an interception for a pick-six as Hilton won its third game of its last four. Amiyah Miles scored a rushing touchdown and also recorded a conversion, while Janessa Blancard caught a pass from Dean for a conversion. Alina Gruttauria also had a rushing conversion. Mary Tramonto and Ari Optiz Rivera both had four flag pulls, with Rivera having three pulls for a loss and Tramonto also breaking up a pass. Jai Marie Solis had three flag pulls, including two for a loss, while Natalie Cosman had a touchdown-saving flag pull.

ROCHESTER ACADEMY CHARTER (1-4) 6
CHARLES G. FINNEY (6-4) 47

Lainy Vargas threw for 100 yards and four touchdowns as well as completed two passes for extra points as Charles G. Finney earned its third win in five games. Vargas also rushed for 84 yards. Lucy Broome caught a touchdown pass and two extra point passes, part of a 50 yard receiving day. Amelia McIntyre caught one touchdown pass and ran in another while also running in an extra point. Defensively, McIntyre had two flag pulls and a safety. Kate Fredrickson and Nyasia Timmon both had a receiving touchdown each. Emma Quirk brought back an interception 40 yards for a touchdown. Farrah Schneider rounded out scoring with a rushing touchdown. Avery Bochno rushed for 68 yards, while Emma Pilecki had two flag pulls and an interception.

Sadie O’Neill threw a touchdown pass to Alex Guzman and rushed for two more on the ground for Eastridge. O’Neill ended the day with 122 yards passing and 71 rushing, while also pulling eight flags (including three for a loss) and breaking up two passes on defense. Guzman finished the game with 76 receiving yards. Gabby Rawlins pulled nine flags, including one for a loss. Kaitlyn Muniz pulled eight flags, seven of them for losses.
