Liam Watson went 2-for-3 with three RBI, a walk and a run scored to lead Spencerport as the Rangers won their sixth straight. Rush-Henrietta got on the board first in the top of the first on an RBI groundout from Jake Militello, but the Rangers got that run back on an RBI groundout from Watson. Matthew Turner gave the Royal Comets the lead once again in the top of the third with a two-run single. A Jonathan Breese sacrifice bunt and a Toby Eng RBI single added two more runs in the inning for Rush-Henrietta, giving the Royal Comets a 5-1 lead. Andrew Lamberton got a run back for Spencerport in the bottom of the third on an RBI single. Watson cut into that lead further with a two-run single in the bottom of the fourth. Lamberton scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game before a sac fly from Matt Green put the Rangers in the lead. Jaeden Ford added on later in the inning with an RBI single to put Spencerport up two. Green also pitched four scoreless innings in relief for the Rangers, allowing two hits, no walks and striking out five.

Noah Sansone went 2-for-4 with four RBI and a run scored to lead Pittsford Mendon to its fourth straight win. After falling behind 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Sansone hit a two-run double to tie the game in the bottom half. An RBI single from Aiden Fields gave Mendon the lead in the bottom of the fifth before another two-run hit, this time a single, from Sansone stretched the Mendon lead to three runs. Reece Totedo went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Ethan Postle struck out 15 in his six innings of work for Mendon, allowing one earned run on three hits and a walk. Griffin Kierst homered in the top of the seventh to pull Canandaigua within three runs after Mendon had added some insurance. Cole Harris went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI for the Grey Wolves.

Jayden Jager went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored to lead Churchville-Chili to its seventh straight win. After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first, Jordan Wilson hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning to put the Saints up 3-1. Jager added two more runs for the Saints in the second with a two-run single. Quintyn Whipple went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI. Braden Smith went 1-for-1 with two walks and two runs scored. Bobby Rule Jr. allowed one earned run in his five innings for the Saints, fanning four. Wilson allowed just an unearned run in his two innings of relief for the Saints.

Jason Larsen connected on a pair of home runs including a third-inning grand slam to help stake McQuaid to a 7-0 lead. Robbie Langdon, Jacob Magats and TD Jordan led the third with consecutive base hits. Jordan’s single snapped a scoreless tie. Dom Corona drew a one-out walk before Daniel Luce made it a three-run game. Connor Forkey reached on a hit by pitch to load the bases and set up Larsen for the one-out round-tripper. Larsen added a two-run shot in the sixth and finished with seven RBI on the day. Langdon and Jordan both went 2-for- 3 at the plate. Jordan drove in a run and scored three times. Thomas Bailey tripled, walked, collected an RBI and crossed home twice. Brayden Craig started and struck out five over four innings to pick up the win. Ryker Christensen worked an inning and a third for a save. The win was the second straight for the Jesuit Knights and fourth in the past five games. Cooper Villiere went 1-for-3 with three RBI to lead Saratoga Springs, the reigning NYS Class AAA champions. Saratoga Springs entered action on Saturday ranked No. 1 in the NYSSWA Class AAA poll. McQuaid is No. 3.

Brady Neville went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored to lead South Seneca to the win in a back-and-forth affair. After falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first, Maddox Sapio tied the game for South Seneca in the bottom half, drawing a bases loaded walk. Lyons took the lead again in the top of the fourth on an RBI single from Steven LeBrecht. A two-run double from Roman Nearpass in the bottom of the fifth put the Falcons back in the lead 3-2. Lyons again took the lead in the top of the sixth on three straight RBI singles from LeBrecht, Brayden Kitchen and Austin Rice. Neville brought the Falcons back within one in the bottom half with a two-run single. Ethan King then tied the game at six with an RBI single of his own before an error allowed the Falcons to take the lead. E-mmanu-el Whitley went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored. Nixon Powell walked three times and scored a run. Mason Gage went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Lyons.

William Schneemann allowed just an unearned run on four hits and a walk in his complete game, striking out 12 to lead Gananda to its third straight win. Maddox Stoughton went 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored to lead the Gananda bats. Henry Shutts went 2-for-2 with a walk and four runs scored. Owen Switzer went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Jackson Giancursio went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Tyler Churchfield hurled a complete game shutout, allowing three hits and no walks in his seven innings of work, fanning 10 to lead Geneseo to its third straight win. The lone run of the game came from Samuel Least, who doubled in the bottom of the fifth to drive in Jose De Leon.

Benjamin Cater went 3-for-3 with a run scored and four RBI to lead Genesee Valley-Belfast to the win. After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, Cater gave GV-B a 3-2 lead with a two-run double in the bottom of the third inning. After Cal-Mum tied the game at three, Cater gave GV-B the lead again in the fifth with a two-run single. Ian MacKenzie went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Derek Calanni went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Nolan Hunter went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Tanner Herdman went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Ethan Davenport struck out six batters in his two innings of relief for GV-B, allowing just an unearned run. Carter Wiley went 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored for Cal-Mum. Dillon Alcott went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Tyler Potter went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

Dylan Wenban singled home the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to lead Haverling to its fourth straight win. After taking a fourth inning lead on a single from Dayton Orlowske, Trumansburg tied the game in the top of the seventh down to its final out. Aidan Clarke-Cabezas delivered an RBI single to tie the game at one. Gage Thomas struck out 13 in his 6.1 scoreless innings of work for Haverling. Thomas also went 2-for-3 with a run scored at the plate. Asher Phenes went 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Tyler Churchfield went 2-for-3 with a walk, five RBI and three runs scored to lead Geneseo to its fourth straight win. The Blue Devils took control of the game quickly, scoring four in the first and three in the second thanks to a two-run double from Churchfield in the first and then a three-run homer from Churchfield in the second. Lincoln Davidson allowed an unearned run in his three innings for Geneseo on the mound, fanning five. Oren Ray went 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored. Samuel Least went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Bryce Patterson went 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Matthew Neus went 1-for-1 with a two-run homer. Preston Granger went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. Jose De Leon went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI. Alec Milne went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI. Connor Czwojdak went 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs scored and a walk to lead Pembroke to its fourth win scoring double digit runs of the season. After falling behind 4-0 in the first two innings, the Dragons took the lead in the bottom of the third on a two-run single from Czwojdak and a two-run double from Mason Weatherbee. After Attica tied the game in the top of the sixth at 8-8, Czwojdak put the Dragons back in the lead with a three-run double in the bottom of the inning. Anthony Abbatiello went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for Pembroke. Patrick Reeves scored three runs, drawing three walks for the Dragons. Jacob Johnson went 1-for-1 with two runs scored, two RBI and two BB. Weatherbee finished 2-for-4 with two runs scored, and three RBI. Gavin Liss went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Abbatiello pitched two innings, allowing one run in relief for Pembroke, striking out four. Blake Donohue went 2-for-2 with two walks and four runs scored for Attica. Justin Stockweather went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Luke Mest went 1-for-4 with two RBI. Jakk Chaplin went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and two walks. Blaine Datzler went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

Drew Beachel went 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored. Fitzpatrick also went 1-for-4 with three RBI at the plate. Eli Grice went 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Preston Viele went 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Antinore also threw a scoreless inning in relief, fanning two.

After trailing for most of the game, Fillmore rallied in the bottom of the sixth, scoring three runs to win the Eagles third straight. Isaac Wilcox drove in the first Fillmore run on a double. Then, with runners on first and third and one out, Malcolm Nusbickel delivered a two-run double to put the Eagles up 3-2. Wilcox also threw a complete game on the mound for Fillmore, striking out nine and allowing two runs in his seven innings of work. Connor McCumiskey went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Nicholas Scott also threw a complete game for Elba, fanning five and allowing three runs in his six innings.

In the completion of a suspended game, senior Trenton Green went 4-for-4 with a double, stolen base, three RBI and three runs scored as Wellsville won for a second straight time. Green turned his fourth double play of the season with second baseman Drew Cowburn. Also for Wellsville (5-2), sophomore Paul Giovanniello was 2-for-2 with three runs scored, a double and RBI. Cowburn had an RBI single and stole a base. Brennen Geffers scored three runs and stole three bases while Anthony Button scored twice. Button, a junior, got the win on the mound for Wellsville, going six innings with five strikeouts and three walks. For Canisteo-Greenwood, Garrett Charles had two hits. Kevin Sirianni had a double and Brendon Ackerman singled.
“This was a continuation from a game started Wednesday,” Wellsville head coach John Anderson said via email. “Our ground keepers worked hard to get this in. Canisteo-Greenwood has solid pitching and good hitting through the lineup, they’ve played three good teams tough. Anthony Button had a strong outing for us, made great adjustments on the mound and Trenton Green is such an exciting player to watch.”

Alfred scored 17 runs on just six hits, walking 14 times en route to the win. Zavier Rao (3), Noah Miller (2), Bradley Miller (2), Paxton Morris-Pierce (2) and Bryce Marlatt (2) all scored multiple runs for Alfred, who scored seven runs in both the first and second innings to put this one away early. Samuel Bensley allowed one run in his four innings for Alfred, striking out six. Morris-Pierce pitched a scoreless inning in relief. Robert Childs went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI to lead the Hinsdale bats on the day.
