Tyler Estelle went 2-for-3 with three runs and four RBI including a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth to ignite a three-run inning that turned a one-run deficit into a lead that Webster Thomas did not relinquish. Estelle earned the save on the mound as well, tossing two-thirds scoreless relief innings of no-hit ball. Liam White-Scuderi finished 4-4 with two RBI and a run while Christian Sciortino finished 3-4 with three runs and two RBI. Sean Griffin notched two hits and two runs while Colin Miller collected two hits as well. Max Bowers added a hit and two RBI while Joey Rotondi-Hrywnak followed with a hit and a RBI. Colin DiCicco drove in a run while Jacob Schoen and Nico Santoleri both crossed home plate once. Santoleri also earned the win, hurling 2.2 innings of two-hit ball with four runs and four strikeouts. For Brighton, Max Sheehan led the way going 2-2 with three runs and two RBI while Noah Deitz posted a hit, a run and two RBI. Grant Powers notched a hit, a RBI and two runs while Hudson Coles followed with a hit and two scores. Jack Morgan and Bella both finished with a run and a hit while Nathan Bondi drove in a run and scored one.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (3-1) 11
BATAVIA (0-3) 0
Chase Dermody tossed five scoreless innings of two-hit ball with nine strikeouts and a walk to pace Pittsford Sutherland. Max Kress scored three runs and went 2-for-2 with RBI-singles while Hudson Lazenby also finished 2-2 with an RBI-triple and scored twice. Ryan Munzinger hit a two-run double while Maddox Johnson added a hit, a RBI and two runs. Jaxon Bernas followed with a hit, a run and an RBI while Aidan Kress singled, driving in a run. Sam Byrne crossed home plate twice. For Batavia, Champ Buchholz and Aaden Calletto both tallied a hit.

AQUINAS (0-7) 1

Yandiel Lopez went 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run while Kyle Markham finished 2-3 with two runs and a RBI to lead East. Mitchell Nieves collected two hits and a run while Eric Jones added a hit, two RBI and a score. Carlos Gatson drove in a run while Justus Robinson crossed home plate once. For Aquinas, Jackson Hobbs notched two hits while Eddie Mancini recorded a hit and a run. Ryan Lewin and Ryan Gleichauf tallied a hit apiece while Ryan Wiepert drove in a run.

WILSON/EARLY COLLEGE (2-2) 7
EDISON (1-5) 1

Kaisel Cuevas struck out 16 against two walks over six innings and allowed one earned run to lead Wilson/Early College. At the plate, Cuevas finished 3-for-3 including a two-run single in the fourth inning when the Wildcats scored four times. Cuevas also walked. Christian Nartey singled, walked and scored twice. Eudi Fernandez drew a walk and crossed home. Kar’Marrie Robinson also crossed home. Miguel Vargas doubled and plated Dariel Ponce wthe lone Edison Tech run.

SOUTH SENECA/ROMULUS (1-2) 15

Derek Voss went 3-for-3 with three runs while Lucas Mosko finished 3-4 with two runs to lead Naples. Down 12-8 in the fifth inning, the Big Green Machines scored eight runs to take a lead it kept the rest of the way. Oliver Bruen notched two hits, two runs and a RBI while Chase Bauman collected two hits and scores. Bauman also earned the win on the mound hurling 1.1 relief innings of four-hit ball with three strikeouts and three runs. Wilhelm Schmitt added a hit, a run and two RBI while James Haremza followed with a hit, a run and a RBI. Theron VanZandt picked up a hit and two runs while Rowan Biggs crossed home plate twice. For South Seneca, Bryce Racano went 4-4 with four runs and two RBI to lead the way while Kyan Miller-Hopkins posted two hits, three RBI and a run. Emmanuel Whitley ended 2-3 with a RBI and a score while Nixon Powell recorded two hits. Eli Albrecht notched a hit, two RBI and two runs while Roman Nearpass followed with a hit, a RBI and two runs. Maddox Sapio put up a hit and three runs while Ethan King crossed home plate twice.

Parker Orbaker struck out 10 over seven scoreless innings of five-hit ball and crossed home plate once to lead Sodus. Wade DeRue led the way with two hits and two runs while Carter Salerno and Brody Crandell followed with a hit and an RBI each. Garrett Barron tallied a hit while Cooper Ingersoll scored a run. For Red Jacket, Nash Owcarzak went 2-for-3 while Derrick House, Dillon Janke and Dom Menucci all notched a hit apiece.

WILLIAMSON (1-3) 5
NEWARK (1-4) 10

Cody Forjone went 3-for-3 with two RBI while Jayce Baker finished 3-4 with two runs and two RBI to lead Newark. Forjone earned the win on the mound as well tossing six innings with nine strikeouts, eight hits, five runs and two walks. Down 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth Thomas Hutterman singled in the bottom of the fourth to drive in a run and ignite a four-run inning that gave the Reds a lead they did not lose. Hutterman also scored twice including in the fourth thanks to a Keane Brady single. Brady also scored three times while Cameron Cruz hit a two-run double. Brayden Serrett and Ricky Orlopp both added a hit and a run apiece.

DANSVILLE (2-1) 1

Dayton Orlowske led the way with two hits for seven RBI and crossed home plate twice while Gage Thomas notched two hits, two RBI and two runs to pace Haverling. Thomas also hurled five innings of no-hit ball with one run and eight strikeouts to earn the win on the mound. Eric Carney-Hendrix went 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs while L Ames hit a two-run double. Lukas Wightman added a hit and a run while Blake Thomas tallied a hit. Mason Davis drove in a run and scored two while Parker Lafler and Asher Phenes scored a run apiece. For Dansville, Dawsyn Mistretta scored the lone run of the game. For Dansville, Brody Sick hit a double.

WAYLAND-COHOCTON (4-1) 16
AVON (1-1) 4

Alex Fedorchuk and Orion Walker both went 3-for-4 with four runs and two RBI apiece to pace Wayland-Cohocton. Fedorchuk earned the win on the mound as well tossing three innings with five strikeouts. Hayden Wolfnager followed with three hits, three RBI and four stolen bases while Ethan Loop notched three RBI and three stolen bases. Quinn Dixon finished 2-3 with two runs, two RBI and two steals.

ALEXANDER (0-3) 0
PERRY (2-2) 4

Walker Briggs hurled seven scoreless innings of five-hit ball with 10 strikeouts to lead Perry. Briggs also singled to drive in a run and scored a run as well in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead to four. Zack Baker added a hit and two runs while Max Siewert hit an RBI-double. Sylas Osborne drove in a run with a single while Tyler Harvey, Chuck Derin and Patrick Feroleto all tallied a hit apiece. Izaiah Hernandez crossed home plate once. For Alexander, Leo Egloff led the way going 2-for-3 while Sean Piertzykowski, Nicholas Marzolf and Colton Smith all recorded a hit apiece.

LETCHWORTH (1-2) 21
WARSAW (0-3) 0

Bryce Roche fanned 13 over five innings of three-hit ball to pace Letchworth. Brody Whalen went 4-for-4 with four runs and three RBI to lead the offense.

ATTICA (0-3) 0

Johnny Ayers went 4-for-4 with three singles and a double for two RBI to lead Pavilion/York. Zach Bauer and Hayvon Cordes notched two hit apiece while Trent Englert hit a three-run homerun. Liam Cambell fanned six over five scoreless innings of two-hit ball to earn the win on the mound. For Attica, Blake Donahue hit a double.

NOTRE DAME BATAVIA (1-0) 10
OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (1-1) 0

Evan Fitzpatrick struck out 13 over five scoreless innings of two-hit ball while driving in a run and scoring one to pace Notre Dame Batavia. Finn Davies went 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI thanks to a double and single to lead the offense while Eli Grice finished with two runs and two hits including a RBI-double. Matthew McCulley added a single, a run and two RBI while Drew Beachel singled, driving in a run and crossed home plate twice. Anthony Warner hit a double and drove in two runs while Chase Antinore hit an RBI-double. Adyn Horzempa added a hit and a run while Joe Barnes scored once. For Oakfield-Alabama, Jackson Gilbert and Jake Gehlert notched a hit apiece.

ADDISON (1-1) 2
WELLSVILLE (4-2) 12

Paul Giovanniello notched his first varsity win striking out four in two-hit ball to lead Wellsville. The sophomore also finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and a stolen base. Ty Rahr went 3-3 with a double, two RBI, four runs and a stolen base while Ben Helveston ended 2-3 with two RBI. Trent Green collected, two hits, two run, a RBI and a stolen base. For Addison, Tyler Miller hit two doubles while Spencer Westervelt notched doubled to drive in a run.


“We worked hard to get the field ready and played in a steady rain for an inning before the skies cleared and the sun came out. The team really rallied around the pitching of our sophomores and junior Ty Rahr and freshman Ben Helveston had another multi-hit game that really compliments the play of our upperclassmen. Despite the rain and overcast weather, our defense was moving very pitch and the energy was outstanding.”

Connor Margeson went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs while Lucas Haskins followed going 2-3 with two RBI and two scores to pace Bolivar-Richburg/Cuba-Rushford. Mason Baldwin and James Day notched a hit, three runs and an RBI while Chase Haas put up a hit, a RBI and two scores. Baldwin also hurled two innings of one-hit ball with four strikeouts and a run to notch the win on the mound. Kingston Loucks finished with five RBI along with a hit and a run while Carson Schunk drove in two runs and scored another. James Gleas scored a run and drove in one while Landon Hendryx crossed home plate once. For Jasper-Troupsburg, Nolan Vallieres, Trajan Terry, Justice Bevis and Rylan Rice all tallied a hit apiece while Aiden Lebarron scored the lone run.
