Ella Malley knocked an RBI triple in the bottom of the first to give Penfield a lead it never relinquished. Vivian Russo recorded an RBI double, scoring Mackenzie Whitehead who recorded three walks. Stephanie Coughlin hit a line drive RBI single to right field to score Zara Vattimo-Fetouh. Vattimo-Fetouh also walked twice, stole one base and struck out five batters over 5.2 innings, allowing five hits, two runs (zero earned) and a walk. Claire Maley went 1-for-2 with a double. Alexi Cimino singled and scored one run.

Kyara Murphy stuck out 11 and pitched a three-hitter while also adding a hit and an RBI to lead Webster Schroeder to a season-opening win. Bri Yonker finished 2-for-2 with a double and a sacrifice bunt. Emma Juliano tripled and walked once alongside recording two Rbi and two runs scored. Kinsley Keil finished with a double, a walk and two runs scored. Kenzie Janicek singled and ended with two RBI. Sophia Smith, Annika Swanson and Lauren Roberts all finished with a hit. Emma Riedl scored one run.
