Zion Parson averaged double figures in leading East High to the top seed in Class A.
Rochester City Athletic Conference (RCAC) coaches named the senior guard/forward the league’s Player of the Year.
Parson averaged 17.5 points per game during the regular season. He topped the 20-point mark on six different occasions, including a season-high 33 points in an 83-83 win at Victor on January 20th. Parson connected 12 times from the floor in the win including once behind the 3-point arc and converted 8-of-10 free throws.
A Third Team All-State selection in 2025, Parson finished with 1,403 career points.

Monroe’s Tah’Jier Holmes and Navareon Patton joined Parson on the First Team along with Isaiah Caruthers (Padilla), Devon Dillon (World of Inquiry) and Wilson Magnet’s Jesse Lynn.
Holmes averaged 16.7 points per game for a Monroe squad which went on to win its first sectional title in more than 40 years. Patton posted numbers of 15.8 points, 6.0 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
Caruthers led all AA1 scorers during the regular season with 18.5 points per game. Dillon, a ninth-grader, scored 17.1 points per game, and Lynn accounted for 20.6 points per game.
