Section V Girls’ Basketball continues this weekend with final four action across three different classifications. Aquinas (AAA), Our Lady of Mercy (A) and Notre Dame-Batavia (D) open in the semifinals with potential championship matchups to follow later in the weekend. All games will be played at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.

2:30 PM CLASS AAA Aquinas (13-9/No. 15 NYSSWA) vs. William Floyd (XI/19-5 No. 29 NYSSWA)
Winner plays either Shaker (2/21-2 No. 6 NYSSWA) or Albertus Magnus (I/23-2 No. 3 NYSSWA) on Friday.
6:00 PM CLASS D Notre Dame-Batavia (19-5/No. 5 NYSSWA) vs. Stamford/Jefferson (IV/22-2 No. 2 NYSSWA)
Winner will play either Chateaugay (X/26-0 No. 1 NYSSWA) or Smithtown Christian (XI/15-5 No. 4 NYSSWA) on Friday.
