Jackson Kennelly netted a game-high 18 points, and No. 17 Red Jacket advanced in the Section V Class C1 playoffs with a 57-39 victory over No. 16 Harley-Allendale-Columbia on Saturday afternoon.
Kennelly accounted for nine points in the first half as the Cardinals took a double-digit lead after two quarters of play.
The senior connected three times from the floor and converted 3-of-5 free throws.
Brayden Lancaster hit a trio of 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and finished with nine points in the win. Charlie Kolodziejski added eight.
Wyatt DeCann (2), Dillon Janke (4), Wyatt Clapp (4), Dixon Hobart (3), Derrick House (4) and Kullen Hill (5) also scored.
Red Jacket (3-18) will face top-seeded Lyons in second-round action.
Carter Bateman led HAC with 12 points. Ari Hagelberg added 11.
Liam Mitchell (5), Wesson Riveros (6) and Kaison Ashford (5) also scored for the Wolves (2-19).
