Kiley Knittle hit four 3-pointers and added 20 points in the win. Lainey Vargas and Sydnei Davis had 12 points apiece. Davis grabbed six rebounds. Kate Frederickson scored 10. The ninth-grader finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, five steals, three assists and four blocks. Parker had 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in the win. Kamryn Bonnell added 12 points, four rebounds and two assists. Kalani Davis and Addison Jones grabbed eight rebounds apiece. Jones scored five points. Davis had two. Ava Harris (3), and Shacoya Wilcher (4) also contributed to the scoring. Kimani Mitchell led Monroe/SWW with 12 points. With Monday’s point total McCombs passed Jill Hammond to become the all-time leading scorer in Bloomfield girls’ basketball history with 1,668 points and counting. Teammates Evalynn Howlett and Sadie Kachmaryk added five points apiece in the win. Sawyer Didas (2), Sydney Falsone (4) and Marlee Poole also scored for the Bombers. “Really nice win tonight,” said Cal-Mum head coach Griffin Mervine via email. “Pavilion is a very talented, young team and Coach Schwenebraten always has them ready to play. We did not get off to a great start on either end of the floor but executed really nicely in the second and third quarters. Mady came in and gave us a really good spark in the second quarter and it was nice to see Shea knock down three 3’s. We have senior night on Wednedsay and we know Wheatland will be ready for us.”

Charity Scott had seven points and seven steals in the win. Sasha Bellamy finished with four points, five steals and five assists. Lillian DeRock (3), Kendall Jines (2), Belle Akin (2), Harper Bliss (2) and Gillian Kemp (1) also scored. The Legends trailed 12-6 after the first quarter before outscoring Pembroke 14-4 in the second and 12-4 in the third. Letchworth honored Milillo, Scott and Bellamy on senior night. Peyton Liss led Pembroke with 11 points. Jayden Hootman (5), Onolee Easterbrook (3), Morgan Coniber (3), Sayla Calderon (3) and Sarah Scroger (2) also scored for the Dragons.

Taylor Hamsher led all scorers and Samantha O’Connor posted a double-double as Dansville, No. 23 NYSSWA Class B, won its seventh straight game. Hamsher finished with 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Mustangs. O’Connor had 11 points, 15 rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Kassidy Cole accounted for six points and nine rebounds in the win. Colleen Metcalfe (6), Morgan Ball (2) and Allison O’Connor (2) also scored in the win. Jaylynn Bridge had two rebounds and a block. Molly Hitchcock led Livonia with seven points.
“I thought the girls played hard tonight in a very physical game,” Dansville head coach Arin Belden said via email. “They handled whatever Livonia threw at us defensively and the girls found ways to impact the game at both ends of the floor. I was most pleased with our activity level on the boards and the way we communicated defensively. We found some energy and rhythm during the third quarter that helped us create some separation.”

Allie Willams finished with 13 points and seven rebounds to lead Oakfield-Alabama (No. 7 NYSSWA Class C) which took a 24-6 lead into halftime. Harper Hughes had nine points, four rebounds and five steals while Hadley Hicks contributed seven points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Hornets who along with Keshequa (17-0) are the only two teams in Section V Girls’ Basketball that remain unbeaten. Alexa Clark (7), Rylee Denny (5), Emma Moeller (5) and Journey Ohlson (3) also scored for O-A.
“A great win on senior night, celebrating our senior, Aimee Demmer,” said O-A head coach Jeff Schlagehauf via email. “Rylee Denny was excellent for us getting us off to a great start and our forwards, Allie, Alexa and Harper were great inside. Hadley Hicks played a strong all around game for us. Overall, a great win for our kids.”
