The junior converted on 4-of-4 free throw attempts over the final eight minutes part of an overall effort that saw the Eagles hit on 10-of-12 tries from the stripe in the fourth. Roman Maldonado finished with 12 points including seven in the final quarter. Anthony Major had 12 and Jayden Patterson scored 10 in the win. Maurice Clark (2), Yaxiel Ramirez (6) and Josh Morse (9) rounded out the scoring for Irondequoit. Hilton’s Kallin Whelehan hit four 3-pointers (three in the fourth quarter) to lead the Cadets with 12 points. Tyler Reger scored nine. Batavia’s Isaac Varland and Ty Gioia hit a pair of 3-pointers apiece in the third quarter when the Blue Devils cut a 13-point Mendon lead to one. Batavia hit six triples in the frame with Casey Mazur and Grady Hemer also finding the range from distance. Mazur led Batavia with 16 points. Gavin White had 15 while Hemer accounted for 12. Aiden Kopper added two points.

Noah Meabon led the Fairport offense with 25 points including 11 in the third quarter when Fairport turned a two-point edge into a nine-point lead. Hadi Dergham added 14 points in the win. Jon Roessel had 12. Gannon Culver (6), Alex Grejda (4), Sam Roselli (9), Antonio Nurse (2), Jeremiah Crocker (2) and Drew Gruba (4) also scored for Fairport. Gates Chili’s Nemo Pye led the Spartans with 17 points, six rebounds and two assists. Jaylen Givens had 11 points, two rebounds and three steals. Alex Kendall (9), Carter Aldrich (6), Kaiser Kiklowicz (5) and Nick McTamney (3) also scored for Dundee-Bradford which pulled away from a tie game at halftime to win for the fourth time in five games. Jackson Kennelly led Red Jacket with 20 points. Dillion Janke had 10 and Charlie Kolodzjetski contributed nine for the Cardinals.
“We weren’t quite sure how tonight was going to pan out,” Dundee-Bradford head coach Nick Bailey said via email. “Being down three guys that play a ton, our boys didn’t hesitate. It was a different style of play from us tonight, going to some zone work to avoid foul trouble early, and smart play allowed us to get back into our aggressive defense down the stretch. Coach Miller and I are extremely proud of every single one of these boys. It’s been a tough year, as we are very young. No seniors, a group of juniors, a couple sophomores, and a freshman on our team means that we need to develop and grow, and that’s exactly what this group is doing.”

South Seneca’s Kyan Miller-Hopkins scored 10 of his 18 points in the first quarter, and the Falcons went on to take a 23-21 lead into halftime. Eli Albrecht scored eight. Hunter Scott had seven. Owen Shultz finished with 20 points and seven rebounds to lead Pembroke which won its fourth straight game. Nolan Peterson added 13 points while Luca Baker scored eight. Hunter Mast contributed eight rebounds including five on the offensive end, and Gage Baker handed out five assists. Kingston Woods led Alexander with 14 points.
“I was really pleased with how our boys competed tonight,” Pembroke head coach Matthew Shay said via email. “Alexander is a tough team that has been playing very well recently and coming off some big wins. I thought we settled in defensively in the second half, holding them to just 15 points. Owen Schultz had a huge night for us and played extremely tough throughout the game. I was also very pleased with the effort from Hunter Mast and Gage Baker. They do all the little things for us, especially on the glass, where they consistently generate extra possessions with offensive rebounds. Their contributions were a big part of our success tonight.”

Blake Kines posted a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead Attica which has won three of its last four games. Justin Stockweather added 16 points including nine in the fourth quarter. Miguel Cebrian Pena accounted for 11 points. Mason Watterson paced Oakfield-Alabama with 21 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block. Hudson George added nine points for the Hornets. Alex Ohlson accounted for eight points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal. Gabe Smith had five rebounds, four assists and three blocks.
“I thought we played a really solid first half defensively holding them to 20,” Attica head coach Rob Crowley said via email. “In the first quarter they were coming away with loose balls off rebounds and then I thought we cleaned that up which helped us a lot. One thing about Oakfield is you know they aren’t going to go away, they kept pushing and kept within range, credit to them.
“Justin came up big for us down the stretch in the fouth quarter which was great to see, and our guards did a better job of helping us take care of the ball. We’re hopefully just going to keep taking steps to improve each day.”
