For the second time in as many years, Byron-Bergen’s Mia Gray was named the Class C Player of the Year by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches’ Organization for Girls’ Sports (NYSSCOGS).
The senior midfielder finished with 46 goals and 26 assists for 118 points. Gray led the Bees to a fifth straight sectional title and a fourth state semifinal appearance in the past five years.
The University of Florida commit is the first known Section V Girls’ Soccer player to earn five First Team All-State selections.
Teammate Grace DiQuattro, a Third Team choice in 2024, joined Gray on the First Team this year along with fellow Bee Elizabeth Starowitz who was named to the Second Team.
Kendall junior Sophia Picardo also earned a spot on the Second Team. Caledonia-Mumford’s Breyanna Bishop (Third), Keshequa’s Braelyn Isaman (Third), Geneseo’s Alison Fowler (Fourth), Kendall’s Brooke Rodas (Fourth) and Holley’s Kyla Burne (Fourth) all earned NYS Class C honors.
Bishop, Fowler, Isaman, Picardo and Starowitz all earned All-State for a second time.
Webster Thomas’s Sophie Esders and Webster Schroeder’s Emma Rascoe both were named First Team Class AA. Brighton’s Lucy Peters and Greece Athena’s Haley Drake earned Second Team nods. Churchville-Chili’s Tessa Wood (Third), Spencerport’s Liana Tata (Third), Penfield’s Lyla Schenck (Fourth), Spencerport’s Emily Peacock (Fourth) and Pittsford Mendon’s Lillian Larimer (Fourth) were also named to the Class AA team.
Aquinas junior Sienna Fallone and Pittsford Sutherland’s Elizabeth Riley both earned their second All-State selections. Fallone, who was named to the Second Team in 2023, earned 2025 First Team alongside Riley who was on the Fourth team in 2024.
Ella Shamp (Batavia/Second), Vivi Oliveri (Aquinas/Second) and Sydney Howard (Wayne/Third) also were named to the Class A team.
Livonia’s Olivia Feehan was named to the Class B First Team. The senior was a Third Team selection a year ago.
Parker Graham (Hornell/Second), Reghan Maxwell (Livonia/Second), Blair Maxwell (Livonia/Third), Bryanna Wilkinson (Hornell/Third), Lauren Schmeelk (Williamson/Fourth), Zoey Winfield (Haverling/Fourth) and Lila Hansen (Penn Yan/Fourth) also earned Class B honors.
Fillmore teammates Mattie McCumiskey and Kallie Pastorius earned First Team Class D honors along with Notre Dame-Batavia ninth-grader Emilie Noble. McCUmiskey was a Second Team selection in 2024.
Alisha Demarest (Northstar Christian/Second), Tenlee Miller (Fillmore Second), Kate Frederickson (C.G. Finney/Third) and Morghyn Ross (Fillmore/Third) also were named to the Class D team.
Sisters Savanna and Eliana Biehler were named to the Class AAA team. Savanna Biehler, a three-time All-State selection was named to the Third Team. Eliana was named to the Fourth Team Class AAA.
