HILTON, N.Y. — Charly Sisson and Eliana Biehler scored a goal apiece less than four minutes apart early in the second half as No. 1 Fairport (11-4-1) clinched the 2025 Section V Girls’ Soccer Class AAA title with a 2-0 victory over No. 2 Rush-Henrietta (6-13-0) on Thursday.
The championship was the third straight for Fairport and sixth in the past nine years.
Sisson converted off a corner kick with 31:43 remaining in the the game to start the scoring. Biehler doubled the advantage with her sixth goal of the year.
“We came out better in the second half,” said Fairport head coach Tom Natalie. “We were getting more opportunities. We had more possession. That’s what we’ve been working on the second half of the season is playing with more possession.”

Biehler settled a ball along the right flank and went far post from just outside the 18-yard box for what proved to be the final margin of victory.
“I’m very proud of the girls,” Natalie said. “They figured it out.”
Thursday’s game came after a 13-day layoff for Natalie’s squad which faced the task of having to beat a team for the third time in the season. Rain that fell throughout the day created a slick surface on Hilton’s LeBeau Field.
And after 40 minutes of play, the Red Raiders had managed three shots on goal.

“They had a good game plan,” Natalie said of Rush-Henrietta. “They did a good job of keeping us at bay. They had high energy. They didn’t give us an opportunity to possess the ball. We played into their hands a little bit by not having clean possession. We allowed them to counter and hit balls.”
The title was the 10th in program history with the last six coming under Natalie’s guidance.
“I give a lot of credit to my staff and the kids,” Natalie said. “They stay grounded. They understand our goal. We’ve lost in the semis in the state the past years. It’s one step at a time.”
Fairport will play the Section VI champion (either Lancaster or Niagara Falls) in the state quarterfinal. That game is scheduled for Friday, November 7th at Webster Schroeder High School.
Fairport played the final 20:34 with 10 on the field after a red-card disqualification.
