Former ESPN Senior NBA Insider and current St. Bonaventure Men’s Basketball General Manager Adrian “Woj” Wojnarowski will be on a panel that will provide practical advice and information for college-bound student-athletes and their parents this Wednesday at the Golisano Institute for Business Entrepreneurship.

A three-time National Sports Media Association’s National Sportswriter of the Year (2017, 2018 and 2019), “Woj” spent six years at ESPN where he was featured on SportsCenter, NBA Countdown, NBA Today as well as Outside the Lines and various other programs for the network. He retired from that position in 2022 to return to his alma mater and take over as the first general manager of the Bonnies’ men’s basketball program.

Since returning to St. Bonaventure, Wojnarowski has facilitated name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities while overseeing the transfer portal, family and alumni relationships, professional player programs and fundraising.

Scott Fitch, head coach of Fairport boys’ basketball as well as head coach of the 2025 USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team, will join Wojnarowski on the panel along with University of Rochester head women’s soccer coach, Ashley VanVechten, McQuaid Jesuit High School Principal, John Serafine and John Young – the Director of College Counseling at McQuaid.

The event, scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time is free and open to the public. Attendees are requested to register (see QR Code below).

Among other topics, the panel will discuss “NCAA academic eligibility,” “scholarship facts,” “the recruiting process,” “communicating with college coaches” along with “balancing academics and athletics.”

The Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship is located at 150 Sawgrass Drive in Rochester, New York.
