How they got here: Fillmore kicked off its postseason with a 21-2 victory over Hammondsport and edged out Elba in the quarterfinals 3-1. The Eagles then took down Keshequa 14-5 in the semifinals to make the Section V title game and defeated top-seeded Arkport-Canaseraga in 12 innings by a score of 5-4 to earn their spot in the Far West Regional. A walkoff winner against Franklinville clinched Fillmore a spot in the state semifinals. Oriskany beat Hamilton (7-0), Poland (12-3), and McGraw (6-3) on its way to a third straight Section III title. In the state quarterfinal round, the Skyhawks plated five runs in the eighth inning to defeat Notre Dame Elmira (IV) by a score of 8-3.
