Ryan Brady doubled and drove in a run as part of a 2-for-3 effort at the plate, and Landen Stoddard hurled six-plus innings as Pavilion/York clinched a spot in the Class C1 semifinals. Brady’s two-out double in the first inning brought home Hayven Cordes to give P/Y a lead it did not surrender at 2-0. Evan Kingdon singled and scored in the frame. Kingdon worked three walks on the day and also came home on a Trent Englert sacrifice fly in the sixth. Stoddard struck out eight. The senior allowed one run on six hits and four walks over 6 1/3 innings. He went 2-4 at the plate. Mason Parsons fanned one over 2/3 of inning to register a save. Liam Ezard and Johnny Ayers had a hit apiece. East Rochester’s Liam DeHollander singled and scored in the sixth when the Bombers put the first two on base as Aaron Newman followed DeHollander with a base hit of his own. ER brought the winning run to the plate in the seventh inning. Ben Newman was 1-2 with two walks. The senior drew a base on balls to lead the final frame. Pavilion/York will face top-seeded Sodus in the semifinals.

Bryce Patterson drew a one-out walk and eventually scored as Geneseo withstood a late rally and advanced to the semifinals with a walk-off win. Patterson moved to third on a Cooper Warner single. After an intentional walk issued to Tyler Churchfield loaded the bases, Preston Granger reached on an error allowing Patterson to come home with the game winner. Warner finished 3-for-4 on the day including an RBI single in the first when the Blue Devils took advantage of five walks to take a 4-0 lead. Warner also worked 1 2/3 innings of relief to pick up the win and scored twice. Phil Dotterweich and Oren Ray both singled and had an RBI in the win. Luke Davis started and struck out seven over 5 1/3 innings. Davis walked twice, had an RBI and scored. Brady O’Brien accounted for a run. The Blue Devils led 5-2 heading into the sixth when Notre Dame-Batavia scored three times. Evan Fitzpatrick, Charles Cummings and Adyn Horzempa led the frame with consecutive singles. Finn Davies connected on a one-out RBI single, and Drew Beachel brought in a run with an RBI fielder’s choice to tie the game at five. Warner walked, stole two bases and scored on a Churchfield single to give Geneseo a 6-5 edge in the bottom of the inning. ND-B rallied in the seventh. Horzempa’s two-out double plated Liam Berger to tie the game. Geneseo will face No. 7 Bloomfield in the semifinals.

CLASS C 2
NO. 5 OAKFIELD-ALABAMA (12-8) 11
NO. 4 HONEOYE (13-7) 4 (F/8)
Ryan Schnaufer doubled and homered in an eight-run eighth as Oakfield-Alabama moved on to the semifinals. After two scoreless frames, Schnaufer led the final inning with his first hit of the game – a two-bagger to center field. The ninth-grader later scored when Jake Gehlert reached on an error. Schnaufer capped the inning with a two-run inside-the-park home run as part of a 2-for-4 effort with a walk and three runs scored. O-A sent 11 to the plate in the decisive frame. Levi Kabel was 2-4 with a walk, two RBI and a run scored in the win. Avery Watterson singled, walked and scored three runs. Hunter Tobolski and Jackson Gilbert both singled, drove in a run and scored. John Cianfrini had a base hit, a walk and crossed home once. David Schnaufer was 2-5. Watterson hurled 3 2/3 innings of relief to pick up the win. Honeoye’s Owen Cuba was 1-3 and scored on a passed in the fifth to tie the game at three. Kevin Schmitt went 2-3 with two walks and a run scored. Sam Clark singled, drew three walks and scored twice for the Bulldogs. Christian Lead accounted for a base hit and two RBI. Dylan Washburn and Chris Shannon had a single apiece. Kyle Schmitt walked twice. Oakfield-Alabama will face top-seeded Kendall in the semifinals.

CLASS D
NO. 10 ANDOVER-WHITESVILLE (8-11) 0
NO. 7 NORTHSTAR CHRISTIAN (11-10) 17
Matt Allen led the Northstar offense with four hits, including a double and a triple, and drove in seven runs. DaVonn Stevens added two hits and four RBI. Tysen Deaton, Carl Dwyer, Gio Palma, and Jay Garwood each contributed two hits as well. Stone Pagano earned the win on the mound. Northstar moves on to face Keshequa in the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
