Constantino Financial Sunday Baseball Wrap: Lamberton paces Spencerport hit parade; Gressel and Sutherland rally

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (2-0)

Noah Gressel drove in two including the game winner with a two-out single in the sixth as Pittsford Sutherland rallied at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Sam Byrne reached on a hit by pitch, and Tyler Allen with a walk. Hudson Lazenby loaded the bases with another walk to set up Gressel. Byrne finished 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored. The junior started and struck out six over five innings of work on the mound. Lazenby allowed one run on three hits and a walk to pick up the win. Allen and Max Kress had a single apiece.

SPENCERPORT (3-0) 14
BISHOP TIMON (Monsignor Martin Association) 4

Andrew Lamberton finished 4-for-4 to pace a 16-hit Spencerport attack. Lamberton connected on a one-out double to spark a two-run first and then drove in two more with a single in the second as the Rangers jumped out to an eventual 9-0 lead. The sophomore second baseman accounted for three RBI and three runs scored. Zach Lamberton went 2-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in the win. Braxton Mann was 3-3 with three RBI at the plate and struck out eight over three innings of work to pick up the win. Grant Distaffen went 3-5 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI while Collin Bates had two hits and a walk in four at-bats with an RBI and two run scored. Dwyer Boyzuck singled, walked twice and scored three runs. Ryan Foos walked and scored, and Liam Watson also came home. The game was played at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

WINDSOR (CT) 8
BRIGHTON (2-2) 4

Sophomore Noah Deitz finished 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored to lead Brighton in a game played at Northeast Regional Park in Davenport, Florida. Teammate Sam Burge went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Jack Edelstein singled and drove in a run. Grady Hopkin added a double.
