East used a three-run fourth inning to pull away from DeWitt Clinton. Eric Jones capped the winning with a two-run single. Mitchell Nieves had a hit and scored two runs while Kyle Markham, Emille Diaz, Yandiel Lopez and Omar Rodriguez all finished with hits as well. Omar Rodriguez struck out six batters to earn the win on the mound.

Tyler Estelle finished 2-for-3 including a bases-clearing double to highlight a six-run second to lead Thomas. Leading 1-0, Nate Caracci reached on a hit by pitch to start the inning and eventually scored on a Cam Guffey single. Charlie Sciortino was hit by pitch and AJ LaLoggia walked to load the bases to set up Estelle. Joey Baller followed with a double of his own to make it a 7-0 game. Senior Jake Dicicco struck out four without issuing a walk and allowed two runs on five hits over five innings to pick up the win. Estelle accounted for four RBI and two runs scored. Baller went 2-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and two RBI. Guffey was 2-4 with a double and two runs scored to go with his RBI. Drew Rosa had an RBI single. Owen Zimmer and LaLoggia each had a hit. Caracci reached base all four times with three walks and a hit by pitch. Pittsford Mendon’s Reece Totedo had a two-run triple for the Vikings. Noah Sansone collected two hits.

Zach Mattice struck out nine over five innings of one-hit ball to lead Hilton. After hitting the first batter he faced and then allowing a single, Mattice retired the next seven that came to the plate. The junior then retired the last seven Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders. Jack Lander and Payden Prince finished with three hits apiece to pace the offense. The duo both had a hand in the second inning when the Cadets jumped out to a 3-0 lead. Kayden Yapjoco, Prince and Adam Petrella led the frame with consecutive singles. Jackson Oliveri and Calvin Starwald followed with back-to-back RBI ground outs, and Lander capped the inning with a two-out RBI single. Lander added a run-scoring base hit in the sixth and also doubled as part of a 3-for-4 effort. Prince also went 3-4 on the day. Yapjoco was 2-3 with a walk. Starwald was 2-3 with an RBI and run scored. Petrella also collected a walk as part of a 1-2 day. Kallin Whelehan singled and scored. Connor Newton crossed home twice. Ryan Caffyn, Noah Dapolito and Camron Quick had a hit apiece for Palmyra-Macedon.

Trailing 6-3 heading into the bottom of the fourth, Olympia/Odyssey rallied to pick up its first win of the season. Connor Welker, who worked three walks in the game, reached on a base on balls to start the sixth and eventually came home with the winning run on Aiden Pusey’s RBI ground out. Juliun Carter finished 2-for-3 including a two-run single in the fourth to cut the deficit to one. Enrique Lopez knotted the game in the fifth with a one-out single. Lopez was 3-3 on the day with a walk and a run scored. Tyler Ashton went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Angelo Ubal singled and scored twice. Alexander Bianchi retired all there batters in the sixth to pick up the win. Carter worked a scoreless seventh with one strike out to register a save. Da’Vonn Stevens and Matt Allen had two hits apiece and both scored a run for Northstar. Tyler Deaton doubled, walked and drove in two runs.
KENDALL (2-0) 4
LIVONIA (1-1) 3 8 INNINGS
Nick Cole brought home Vinny D’Agostino with the winning run as Kendall held off a late Livonia rally. Cole finished 1-for-3 with a walk on the day. The junior’s sacrifice fly in the eighth was the game winner. D’Agostino hurled a scoreless inning of relief to pick up the win. Cole started and allowed two runs on six hits and four walks. D’Agostino reached on an error and eventual stole home as Kendall scored twice in the first inning on the way to a 3-0 lead. Colby Hughes was 1-3 with an RBI. Livonia scored single runs in the third and fourth innings. Jake Benitez led the seventh with a double and came around to score on a Caden Cavo RBI groundout to send the game to extra innings. Oliver Taylor had two hits for Livonia.
