Savanna Biehler scored and added an assist while Addison Tally stopped six shots as Fairport won its fifth straight game. Biehler opened the scoring late in the first half with an assist from Ava Van Harssel. Leading 1-0 at the break, Biehler doubled the advantage less than 11 minutes into the second half. Avery Slater assisted on the play. Andrea Wilson scored two minutes later and Delaney McIntyre capped the scoring in the 73rd minute. Lola Pucci and Biehler had an assist apiece on the last two goals. The shutout was the third straight and fourth this season. The Red Raiders advance to the state semifinals where they will take on either Ward Melville (XI) or Oceanside (VIII) next Saturday, Nov. 16th at 12:30 p.m. at Tompkins Cortland Community College.

Jaelyn Rodi netted the lone goal of the Class A Far West Regional in the final 40 to lift Pittsford Mendon to its tenth straight victory. The Vikings earn their second shutout in a row and 11th of the season. Mendon advances to the state semifinals as the Vikings look ahead to next Saturday, Nov. 16th as they take on either Shoreham-Wading River (XI) or Wantagh (VIII) at Cortland high school at 9:30 a.m. READ MORE

Grace DiQuattro connected with Mia Gray who netted the game winner with four minutes left in the second overtime to lift Byron-Bergen to its seventh straight victory. With the goal, the junior leads Section V with 37 goals on the year. After a scoreless opening 40, Janessa Amesbury broke the tie as she netted a goal to take the lead six minutes into the second half off of a corner kick from Meghan Muscarella. Natalie Prinzi registered eight saves in the win. For Frewsburg, the lone goal of the game came from Taytum Jimerson while sister Ava Jimerson tallied the assist midway through the final 40. The Bees advance to the state semifinals as they take on the champions of Section IX Burke Catholic next Saturday, Nov. 16th at 9:30 a.m. at Homer high school. READ MORE
