The 2024 Section V Class C1 Girls’ bracket features 16 teams including four teams each from Wayne County and the Genesee Region, three teams from the Livingston County Athletic Association, two squads each from Steuben County and the Finger Lakes West Region, and one squad from Allegany County. The tournament kicks off with first round action this Tuesday, October 22nd. The Class C1 Finals are scheduled for Friday, November 1st, 2024.

Williamson enters the postseason as the one seed with 13 wins on the season and only three losses. The Marauders enter the playoffs on a four-game winning streak with all of those victories coming by shutout. The Marauders come into this postseason with vengeance on their mind after falling in the 2023 championship game to Holley, 2-1 and look to win their first Class C1 championship since sharing the title in 2019*.

Geneseo sits as the second seed entering playoffs with 12 wins on the season and four losses after not making the postseason in 2023. The Blue Devils won a Class C2 championship in 2020 but haven’t reigned supreme over Class C1 since 2016. In the third seed is Bloomfield with 11 wins and four losses. The Bombers ended the season on a six-game winning streak with five coming by shutout. The Bombers look to carry this momentum into the playoffs and win their first Class C1 championship since 2008 after falling in the semis last year to Holley.

Red Creek finds themselves in the fourth seed with 12 wins on the season and four losses. The Rams ended their regular season on a three-game win streak all by shutout. Defending Class C1 champion Holley comes into this postseason as the fifth seed with 11 wins, four losses, and one tie after earning the one seed last year. The Hawks enter the postseason on a three-game winning streak and look to go back-to-back in Class C1 which hasn’t happened since 2013-2014 seasons with the Avon Braves. Here’s the full breakdown:
