West Herr Weekend Girls’ Soccer Wrap: Gray leads Byron-Bergen to pair of wins; Gananda’s Hoffmann accounts for nine points in Blue Panthers’ win

LIMA CHRISTIAN (2-1) 1
Katherine Winchester led the HAC Wolves with two goals and an assist, while AJ Williams, Amora Thongjang, Olivia Fowler, and Zhia Washburn also found the back of the net for a goal each. Nadia Wehbe tallied a trio of assists, while Baylor Scott notched two. The lone Lima Christian goal came as a result of an own goal by HAC in the 49th minute.

Junior Sophia Delfs and sophomore Khloe Paul both scored as Newark recorded the shutout. Sophomore Karina Natale recorded an assist on Paul’s goal. Senior Marilena Diaz led RCSD United with three shots.

Eighth-grader Khloe Mahoney scored a goal and added an assist for Mynderse in the win. Junior Peyton Verkey and senior Myah Herron recorded a goal each. Junior Kyah Lajewski and sophomore Dani McDermott each had an assist. Senior Natalie Petrocci recorded a shutout but didn’t make any saves due to the tight defense of the Blue Devils.

Junior Lauren Schmeelk scored a hat-trick and added an assist as Williamson notched the shutout win. Sophomore Sarah Niles converted a penalty, while junior Madyson Storey put another point on the scoreboard while also racking up an assist. Senior Kendall Fernaays and junior Halle Verbridge had an assist each. Junior Katherine Kuhl made two saves for the clean sheet.

Isabella Hoffmann netted a hat trick and added three assists to lead Gananda while teammate Alysia Cruz had three goals and one assist in the win. Lily Aylett, Leah Buffan and Paige Quigley each found the back of the net for the Blue Panthers. Aylett also accounted for an assist. Elizabeth Gorski and Harper Paull both helped set up goals.

Junior Avery Boogard led North Rose-Wolcott with two goals, while sophomore Jaden Fernandes, junior Brook Putnam, and junior Vivian Bishop all added a goal each. Bishop also recorded two assists. Sophomore Leah Anthony racked up two assists, while senior Sydney Cuykendall tallied one of her own. Junior Mikenzie Shear made two saves in the win.

Mia Gray finished with two goals and four assists to lead Byron-Bergen. Janessa Amesbury netted a hat trick while Grace DiQuattro found the back of the net twice in the win. Meghan Muscarella Elizabeth Starowitz and Grace Mundell each added a tally. Riley Shallenberger accounted for two assists. Natalie Prinzi made two saves for the shutout.

Sophomore Vanessa Guerrero paced Wheatland-Chili with a hat-trick of goals and a trio of assists as the Wildcats moved to 2-1-1 on the year. Fellow sophomore Jaeda Mekker had three assists of her own to go with a goal, while eighth-grader Jaylin Gallagher scored twice and sophomore Olivia Wantke also found the back of the net. Sophomore Keira Nash made three saves in the shutout.

Sophomore Fillmore’s Mylee Miller scored two goals and recorded an assist while freshman Tenlee Miller had a goal of her own to go with three assists. Freshman Kallie Pastorius, junior Morghyn Ross, sophomore Brooklyn Templeton and eighth-grader Grace Walton added goals for the Fillmore Eagles. Senior Grace Clark had five saves in the win. Senior Danika Scott, senior Hannah Southwick, and sophomore Madison Yackeren scored goals for Genesee Valley-Belfast, while sophomore Bayleigh Tallman racked up an assist. Defensively, senior Charisma Metatos made nine saves.

Ava Fedele and Ava Aloi netted a goal apiece to lead Churchville-Chili Monroe County Division II action. Jillyan Ewing picked up both assists while Tessa Wood recorded six saves in the win.

Eliana Biehler found sister Savanna Biehler who netted the game winning goal in overtime to push Fairport past Our Lady of Mercy in non-league action. Savanna Biehler and Andrea Wilson both scored a goal apiece in the first half while Charlotte Finkbeiner tallied an assist. Addison Tally recorded eight saves in the victory.

Lyla Schenk tallied a goal to lead Penfield past Rush-Henrietta in non-league play.

Kylie Clement completed the hat trick to lead Webster Schroeder past Canandaigua in Monroe County action. Emma Rascoe picked up the lone assist on the day while Lucy Starzyk racked up six saves in Webster Schroeder’s first shutout of the season.

Lindsay Lenhard stuffed the stat sheet with two goals and two helpers to lead Spencerport past Webster Thomas in Monroe County play. Emily Peacock, Carley Oakden, and Sienna Danehy all netted a goal apiece. Peacock tallied an assist while Addison Lynch tallied a save.

Cassaundra Carpenter tallied three saves as Gates Chili played to a draw against Palmyra-Macedon in non-league action.

Danielle Holzschuh tallied five saves in a shutout to lead Brockport past Honeoye Falls-Lima in Monroe County Division III action.

Sienna Fallone netted a hat trick and a helper en route to Aquinas’s third shutout of the season agaisnt Williamsville South in inter-sectional action. Jaden Deming scored two goals and Vivi Oliveri found the back of the net one time in part of a five-goal first half. Bella Muratore picked up a pair of assists while Savannah Sweet recorded one in the victory.

Kathryn O’Gara netted two goals including the overtime game-winner to lead Bishop Kearney/Chesterton Academy past Addison in non-league action. Martha Shabani tallied the lone assist of the game while Alaina Ruffino recorded four saves.

Lauren Schmeelk found the back of the net twice to lead Williamson past Honeoye in non-league. Madyson Storey and Halle picked up an assist apiece while Katherine Kuhl tallied two saves in Williamson’s third shutout of the season. Emily King racked up 17 saves for Honeoye.

Alison Fowler recorded a hat trick and a pair of helpers to lead Geneseo past Letchworth in Livingston County Division II action. Gabriella Lee recorded two scores while Madilyn Ladelpha, Olivia Bucci, and Sierra Whitney netted a goal apiece as Geneseo outscores opponents 12-1 on the season. Whitney also tallied an assist and Taryn Rossborough saved one shot in the win. For Letchworth, Maci Weaver netted the lone goal of the game off the feed from Annika Milillo. Letchworth racked up 17 saves in the loss, nine from Ella Belkota and eight by the hands of Sage Schroeder.

Zoey Humphrey found the back of the net twice including a penalty kick in a three-goal second half to lead LeRoy past York/Pavilion in Livingston County Division II play. Bailey Caton scored the final goal for LeRoy while Harper Sullivan tallied a pair of helpers. Madison Paddock recorded nine saves in the victory.

PERRY (0-4-0) 0

There were seven different goal scorers to help Warsaw push past Perry in Livingston County Division II play. Elisabeth Tangeman and Maria Prattico led the scoresheet with two goals while Lauryn Carmichael, Alexis Sonricker, Emily Klump, Veronica Streamer, and Kaitlyn Treutlein all netted a goal apiece. Tangeman tallied assists while Reese Swenson and Natalie Lonneville had a helper apiece. Brenna Gay-Ackerman saved two shots in her first shutout of the season as Warsaw has outscored its opponents by a combined total of 14-2.

KESHEQUA (1-2-0) 1

Bre Bishop found the back of the net with 2:42 remaining in the game off a feed from Emma Brogan to lead Caledonia-Mumford to its third straight win. The junior also had Cal-Mum’s first goal of the game with help from Lily Clement. Cache Brockenshire racked up 14 saves in the victory.

Mia Gray netted a hat trick and a helper to push Byron-Bergen past Holley in Genesee County action. Elizabeth Starowitz scored the other goal of the game while Grace DiQuattro tallied two assists.

Maya Zilker and Teegan Sibble netted a goal apiece as they fell to Alfred-Almond in non-league play.
