For the first time in program history, the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets hosted a game under the lights at newly enshrined Werner Kleeman Field. Allen Nesmith compiled 286 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries to lead McQuaid on the road. Nesmith also caught three passes, totaling 80 yards and a touchdown. Xavier Cox scampered into the end zone twice and had five carries for 61 yards. Will DiMarco completed 13-of-19 passes, including two that found the end zone and racked up 165 yards. DiMarco also added a rushing touchdown and 37 yards on the ground. On defense, Thomas Bailey led with 10 tackles. Nesmith added four tackles. Cox chipped in three tackles. Rush-Henrietta’s Justin Medina rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Brendan Mangone completed 15-of-26 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns. The sophomore quarterback also ran the ball three times for 16 yards. Jah’Quin Brown caught four passes for 139 yards including one for a touchdown. Imani Wagstaff made four catches for 21 yards and a score. Jihad Perry rushed the ball four times for 33 yards and one touchdown. Amari Marianetti-Smith scampered into the end zone on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter, giving Spencerport a late lead it would hold onto. Marianetti-Smith opened the scoring with a three-yard rush in the first. Amir Davis responded for Gates Chili in the second frame with an 80-yard touchdown reception from Gavin Sweeney. Zayden Williams made it 14-7 by hauling in a 15-yard pass from Sweeney. Tony Kanaley then knotted the game at 14 for the Rangers with a 30-yard pass to Kendall Brinson. Sweeney hurled his third touchdown to Zayden Williams to make it 20-14 in the fourth, setting up the Marianetti-Smith score. Kanaley finished 5-for-11 in the air, racking up 91 yards and a touchdown pass.Brinson made six rushes for 29 yards. Zac Ajavananda finished with seven rushes for 51 yards and four receptions for 92 yards. Marianetti-Smith ended with 20 carries for 77 yards and 2 scores, as well as making seven tackles and two for a loss on defense. Noah Rodgers had six tackles and a sack.

Maddox Kelly went 3-for-3 in the air, throwing a pair of touchdown passes and finishing with 60 yards. Leitten led the defense with 11 tackles, followed by Dawson Shelly with 10. Zach Brown recorded eight tackles. Nick Cummins made five tackles and one for a loss, while Hayden Schroeder made four tackles and one for a loss.

Brody Heckman scampered into the end zone twice for Alexander, leading the Trojans over Attica at home in the first meeting of the two schools in seven years. Heckman opened the scoring with a 19-yard touchdown run midway through the first quarter. He then found the end zone on a 33-yard rush giving Alexander a 14-0 lead heading into the half. Jacob Brooks had two takeaways, including a pick-six to make it 21-0. Heckman finished with 82 yards rushing. Kingston Woods had 12 carries for 50 yards. Ryder Riechert racked up 46 yards on the ground.

Kalman Dolgos broke loose for a 33-yard touchdown lead in the second quarter, giving Avon a lead it would not relinquish. Wesley Farley followed up with a nine-yard scoring run to make it 20-7. Evan Blye uncorked a 25-yard touchdown pass. Blye finished 11-for-18 in the air for 98 yards. Farley had 19 rushes, racking up 182 yards. Robert Bridges chipped in an 11-yard touchdown run. Blayden Borsching hauled in three passes for 28 yards. On defense, Bryce Ballew led with four tackles. Farley, Borsching and Aiden Lindstrom all made three tackles. Connor Smith added a sack. For York/Pavilion, Parker Bonafede scored on a four-yard run to knot the game up at seven. Kasey Coffey, Bonafede and Trent Englert all made seven tackles. Liam Campbell led with eight tackles.

On defense, Tyler Rahr and Matthew Ritter both led with 11 tackles. Xander Outman made 10 tackles, including two for a loss. Green snagged an interception. Derek Coleman finished with nine tackles. Raplee also connected with Aven Foster on a 13-yard touchdown pass in the second frame. Brighton Grant finished with 74 rushing yards. For Newark, Michael McGavisk completed 15-of-24 passes in the air, totaling 239 yards and a pair of scores. Levar Moore made nine grabs for 168 yards and a touchdown. Moore also had eight carries, totaling 45 yards. Nico Salerno added a scoop and score on defense.

Jawril Simmons accounted for 100 total yards of offense and one interception.

Messiah Hampton recorded three catches for 85 yards and found the end zone once rushing and once receiving. Tahjmir Mullins carried the rock 10 times, netting 88 yards and a touchdown. Sthyles McKenzie-Baker had 55 yards and a score receiving. Defensively, Terrance “Macho” Nichols returned a fumble 40 yards to the end zone. Christien Franklin had eight tackles and a fumble recovery. Jermaine Montgomery added eight tackles and .5 sacks. As a collective, Monroe held Wilson to less than 30 yards of offense.

Lakoda Mruczek had five carries for 32 yards and one touchdown while finishing with 6.5 tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Jordan Motyka had one reception for a four-yard touchdown in the win. Maggio Buchholz had 6.5 tackles and a sack. Greyson Fix made two catches for 49 yards while grabbing one interception and contributing 1.5 tackles.

Benjamin Newman connected with Noah Mather on two first-half touchdowns before taking a 30-6 halftime lead over Greece Olympia/Odyssey. Newman was 8-of-10 for 280 passing yards and five touchdowns on the day. Cadearrell Sneed Jr. and Ray Allen each added a first half touchdown. Sneed also carried it five times for 103 yards while tallying nine tackles defensively. Allen ended with three catches for 116 yards and two scores. Justin Allen caught three balls, collecting 62 yards and a touchdown. Owen Munding scored a fourth quarter rushing touchdown. Robbie Dettman rushed for 39 yards on six attempts. Nicholas Falso registered nine tackles with one for loss and caught an interception. Nathan Tandle and Maisam Aziz had a tackle for loss each. For Greece Olympia/Odyssey, Matt Valicenti had 49 rushing yards, finding the end zone once plus completing two passes for 29 yards with one interception thrown.

Pembroke emerged victorious from a rematch of last year’s 8-man NYSPHSAA championship after trailing 22-20 at halftime. Caleb Felski ground out 40 carries, netting 332 yards from scrimmage and scoring six total touchdowns. On defense, he had nine tackles and a forced fumble. Jayden Bridge, Aidan Balduf and LJ Ferreira tallied seven tackles a piece. Bridge and Ferreira each caught an interception with Bridge’s being returned 55 yards to the end zone.
