Mallory Heise netted 13 of her 15 points in the first half when Rochester opened 33-25 lead. Heise connected six times from the floor including once from behind the 3-point arc. Asia Wilson added 11 of her game-high 17 in the second half. Wilson hit three 3-pointers in the win. Molly O’Toole had a pair of triples and accounted for 10 points while Loren Green and Kendall Parker scored six apiece in the win. Rhylin Fehrenbach (5), Addison Morgan (3), AJ Orr (3), Takyla Vaughn (2), Cadence Brecker (2) and Payton Bentley (1) rounded out the scoring for Rochester. Maddy Fileen hit four 3-pointers and led Mid Hudson with 13 points.
ROCHESTER (GIRLS) 74 CAPITAL 49
Asia Wilson and Rhylin Fehrenbach scored 13 apiece and Mallory Heise added 10 as Rochester won a battle of unbeaten teams. Heise and Wilson combined for 17 first-half points when the local side opened a 41-27 advantage. Heise scored eight in the opening stanza while Wilson had nine including one 3-pointer. AJ Orr added nine points in the win. Takyla Vaughn had eight. Addison Morgan (7), Loren Green (4), Kendall Parker (4), Cadence Brecker (4) and Taryn Goodness (4) also contributed. Capital’s Olivia Hoffman topped all scorers with 16 points.

Asia Wilson poured in 17 of her game-high 21 points to help Rochester take a 49-27 lead into halftime. Wilson hit three 3-pointers in the opening stanza part of an overall effort that saw the local team find the range from distance eight times. Rhylin Fehrenbach hit one triple and finished with 15 points. Mallory Heise had three treys and 13 points overall in the win. Loren Green (9), Kendall Parker (8), Addison Morgan (4), Payton Bentley (4), Taryn Goodness (4), AJ Orr (3), Molly O’Toole (3) and Cadence Brecker (2) also scored for Rochester which finished pool play with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses. The local team will face Buffalo in Sunday’s semi-final round.

Rochester improved to a record of 3-0 on the weekend.
ROCHESTER (BOYS) 74 SUFFOLK 47
Dylan Pohl finished with a game-high 19 points including 14 in the first half to lead Rochester. Griffen Hopkins added 17 points while LaShard Lowry, Jr. hit two 3-pointers as part of an 11-point effort. Josh Harter and Christian Zarzycki added six apiece. Jaiyden Jones and Trevor Stroud both had four points. Lucas Wachter (3) and Hunter Streb (2) rounded out the scoring. Rochester will face Hudson Valley in the semi-finals on Sunday.
