Rhylin Fehrenbach scored seven of her game-high 17 in the first half as Rochester built a 38-25 lead heading into the break. Fehrenbach connected three times from the floor in the opening stanza. Asia Wilson hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points in the win. AJ Orr added 11 points. Payton Bentley (5), Loren Green (2), Mallory Heise (8), Molly O’Toole (8), Kendall Parker (6) and Takyla Vaughn (5) also scored for the local squad. Ashari Emuze led Hudson Valley with 12 points.
ROCHESTER (GIRLS) 46 BUFFALO (43)
Rhylin Fehrenbach scored 12 points, and Mallory Heise added 11 to lead Rochester. Asia Wilson connected on a pair of 3-pointers and finished with seven points. Molly O’Toole (5), Kendall Parker (4), AJ Orr (3) and Takyla Vaughn (2) also scored in the win. Sarah Seyfang and Jada Mushat scored 11 apiece to lead Buffalo. Rochester will face Mid Hudson and Capital on Saturday.
ROCHESTER (BOYS) 79 MID HUDSON 34
Cam Blankenberg led three in double figures with 14 points. Blankenberg connected on three 3-pointers to pace a long-distance effort that saw the Rochester squad find the measure from distance on 12 occasions. Lucas Wachter also hit three triples in an 11-point effort. Griffen Hopkins had two 3-pointers and 10 points in the win. Hunter Streb (2), Jaiyden Jones (4), Christian Zarzycki (3), Micah Johnson-Breedlove (2), LaShard Lowry, Jr. (5), Dylan Pohl (4) and Trevor Stroud (8) also scored for Rochester.
ROCHESTER (BOYS) 82 CAPITAL 54
Cam Blankenberg scored 16 points while Hunter Streb and Dylan Pohl scored 11 apiece to lead Rochester. Trevor Stroud hit three 3-pointers and finished with nine points in the win. Micah Johnson-Breedlove (7), LaShard Lowry, Jr. (7), Griffen Hopkins (6), Jaiyden Jones (6), Josh Harter (4), Christian Zarzycki (3) and Lucas Wachter (2) also scored in the win. Rochester hit eight 3-pointers. The local squad will play Nassau and Suffolk on Saturday.
