Aidan Crunick, Payton Holtby and Samuel Clark were all responsible for RBI on consecutive at-bats in the first inning as Canandaigua got off to a 4-0 lead in the win. With Canandaigua up 1-0, Holtby singled into centerfield to score Russell Barone. The next at-bat, Crunick singled to right field to score Nate Brinza. Clark grounded out in the following at-bat, with Holtby scoring during the play. Holtby finished with a double, the first-inning single, three RBI, and two runs scored. Cole Harris singled, had an RBI, and scored a run. Harris was the starting pitcher for the Gray Wolves, throwing four innings, giving up no hits as well as no earned runs, and striking out four batters. Clark finished with two RBI. Brinza scored two runs, drew a walk, and singled. Lucas Delforte doubled, singled, and crossed home plate twice. VanDeVoorde and Ludwig scored Fairport’s two runs. Gropp drew a walk. Ludwig and William Nunn each threw relief, with Ludwig throwing an inning and Nunn throwing an inning and a third.

David D’Ambrosia also scored a run. Carter Dunn got the nod for the Blue Devils, throwing five and a third innings and striking out five batters.

Gabriel Reyes and James Browe both doubled for Penfield, with Reyes also scoring a run. Patrick Emling, Ethan Light, and Trevor Hofer each singled. Travis Bush and Light each drew a walk. Jace Crawford was the starter for the Patriots, striking out three batters over four and a third innings. Emling threw an inning and two thirds and picked up three strikeouts. Hofer struck out two batters over the course of an inning.
