Carter Lamkpe added a dozen points, in partial thanks to a pair of first-quarter three-pointers. Noah Redd scored 11 points, while Joho Offer had 10. For Webster Schroeder, Jacob Insley went 7-of-9 from the free throw line and totaled 17 points. Anthony DeRosa and Jock Kelly each hit two three-pointers and finished with 10 points. Mike Long paced Elba with 12 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and three steals to help Elba notch it’s first victory of the season. Long scored nine of his 12 points in the fourth quarter, a period that saw him knock down two of his three three-pointers on the night. After Way-Co scored 17 points in the first quarter to take an early lead, the Elba defense responded by holding the Eagle to only four points in the second quarter to enter halftime tied at 21. Elba finished the game outscoring Way-Co 15-8 in the fourth quarter. Nicholas Scott and Ryan Mersceill each added nine points, with Scott adding four rebounds and Mersceill a pair of assists. Ashton Bezon finished with seven points and nine rebounds. Angelo Penna scored four points and tallied six boards. Anthony Schirmer led Wayland-Cohocton in scoring with a dozen. Charles Feinman scored all eight of his points in the second half. Hunter Trischler scored five first-quarter points.
