Rochester native Thomas Bryant contributed well for the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Bryant played 17 minutes and scored 13 points (4-of-6 field goals made), was 5-of-5 from the free-throw line and had four rebounds in the Heat’s 132-124 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
In Miami’s 120-104 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, the ex-Bishop Kearney High School standout was in the starting lineup. He finished with four points, five boards and an assist in 20 minutes.
Bryant and the Heat wrap up preseason play with a home game against the Brooklyn Nets this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Jalen Pickett (Denver Nuggets)
The former Aquinas Institute star had seven points, three rebounds and two assists in the Nuggets’ 116-102 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.
Pickett and the Nuggets face the Los Angeles Clippers at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
