Josh Baraka notched a pair of tallies, including the game-winner in the 95th minute to lift Bishop Kearney/Chesterton to its first win. The senior midfielder wasted no time igniting the Kings’ offense with a goal 11 minutes into the match. Jacek Bartoszewicki and Raymond Shanks assisted Baraka’s scores. Sophomore midfielder Packy Triassi found the back of the net with five minutes remaining in regulation. For York/Pavilion, Mason Gilkes and Kyan Tiede both scored a goal.

Sophomore midfielder Ezra Gathercole found the back of the net twice to lead a balanced Honeoye Falls-Lima offense in the Cougars’ first win. Braden Bellizzi, Aiden McLean, Sean McQuillan, Oakley Odell, Brandon Pritchard and Zachary Zollo all scored a goal. Aidan Neenan, Pritchard and McQuillan added two helpers apiece as well. McLean and Zollo were both credited an assist.

Arnanh Douangdala, Rizan Esposito and Kassem Mohamed all scored a goal as Greece Olympia opened the season with back-to-back victories. Blessed Likoke and Sagar Magar each added an assist. Senior goalkeeper Dylan Mattice only needed three saves for his second straight clean sheet. For Eastridge, sophomore netminder Jack Hanley converted five stops.

Senior striker Jack Emo netted a pair of shots and assisted another as Hornell rebounded from its first loss with a win at Olean High School. Wyatt Evingham and Eric Ross both recorded a goal and helper. Demayne Dixon and Alfie Whiteley both secured an assist as well.

Brian Geiger scored the game’s opening goal and assisted the go-ahead score to lead Dansville to its first win of the season. The senior midfielder set up junior forward Ryan Burley for the game-breaking tally.

Junior forward Ian Hinrich’s eighth-minute goal was the difference as Keshequa held on for its second straight victory to start the season. Freshman midfielder Aiden Howe assisted the score. Senior goalkeeper Gregory Loper only needed one save for the shutout.

Colin Martin scored in each half and provided an assist to lead Byron-Bergen/Elba to its first win. The senior midfielder placed the Bees on the board in the 25th minute and ignited a two-goal second half with a 70th-minute tally. Junior forward Jack Farner rounded out the scoring via Martin’s helper in the 74th minute.

Matthew Lincoln scored twice in a minute span to ignite a three-goal second half for Naples in the Craig Lawrence Memorial Soccer Tournament. Isaac Ward broke the scoreless stalemate at the 57-minute mark while Lincoln’s tallies occurred with 10 minutes left in the contest. Oscar Austin assisted on all three goals. Junior goalkeeper CJ Fuller supplied seven saves. For Wayland-Cohocton, Matthew Clark notched seven saves as well.
