Johnny Daby drilled a pair of shots as Northstar Christian defeated host Wheatland-Chili in the Mike Sivington Tournament. The junior forward scored in each half, including two minutes after Harold Acuna doubled the lead. Senior forward Lorenzo Danesi assisted both of Daby’s goals. Sophomore midfielder Christian Mazur accounted for Acuna’s tally. Senior goalkeeper Trevor Nasso only needed three saves for the clean sheet.

Senior defender Camden Bean netted the game-winner in extra time to lift Churchville-Chili to a season-opening victory. Andrew Burke knotted the game with a direct corner kick.

Junior midfielder Liam Furmansky’s 15th-minute tally was the lone score as Canandaigua won the opener. Senior midfielder Jonah Lawrence assisted the shot. Lukan Tessena supplied six saves for the shutout. For Honeoye Falls-Lima, junior goalkeeper Sawyer Ferraro kept the contest close with six stops.

Austin Stephany led a balanced Fairport offense with a goal and assist in a season-opening victory. The junior attacker helped senior midfielder Daniel Van Aardt find the back of the net. Junior midfielder Ryan Mathis rounded out the scoring. Tyler Burton and Alen Duric both added an assist. AJ Nelson was in goal for the shutout.

Senior defender Jariel Ubiles starred offensively with a pair of tallies to lead Mynderse in the season opener. Alija Kise and Anthony Luffman both netted a goal. Freshman attacker Elijah Doell spread out three assists.

Senior forward Aiden Monell found the back of the net with 1:11 remaining in overtime to lift Dundee/Bradford to victory. Sophomore forward Ian Pavlina put the BraveScots on the board near the end of the first half. Junior goalkeeper Jeremy Stiles provided a trio of saves. For Penn Yan, senior midfielder Landon Spears scored the team’s lone goal. Junior netminder Nathaniel Chaffee accumulated 12 saves.

Junior midfielder Holden Kelly unloaded five goals and two assists to ignite Perry’s season-opening win. Junior forward Dominic Hurlburt followed up with two tallies. Brady Kelly Zac Narowski both added a goal. Kelly notched a pair of assists while Narowski had one. Junior defender Makai Miller supplied a helper as well.
