Colby Wilson went 2-for-5 with four RBI including a three-run home run in a seven-run first to lead Ely Fagan Post 1151 to its eighth win in its last nine games. The infielder plated Evan Brock with a single to right field in the second to make it 8-0. Preston Foryt had an RBI-ground-out in the first and a two-RBI single in the second. The designated hitter retired the side in order with strikeouts of the final two batters. Brock finished 3-for-4 with a two-run home run with two outs in the seventh. Caleb Koehler went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on the second at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. Cam Richards struck out six and gave up eight hits over six innings. Dillon Kelly went 1-for-3 and plated Wilson with a two-out single in the second. Justin Angora went 2-for-5 with a single, a stolen base and a run scored in the first, and Chucky Sobaszek had a leadoff base hit and stole home in the frame. For Braman Post 1229, Caleb Wilson went 1-for-2 with a two-out homer in the second, and Jayden Ryrko went 2-for-3 including a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first. Alex Young went 2-for-4 and connected on a 3-1 pitch for a home run to right field in the third. Pinch hitter Collin Petruzzelli had a leadoff four-bagger in the bottom of the sixth. Sam Guiffrida and Mason Lawyer each had a hit.

GREECE POST 468 (14-0-1) 2 (GAME 1)
Kaleb Juliano’s two-out single in the bottom of the seventh allowed James Capellupo to score and lift Greece Post 468 to its 14th-straight win. Connor Gresens singled in the fifth and brought home Brian Tisa with a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded and no outs in the seventh. Jeffrey Broadnax led off the frame with a single to left field and Jack Cannon followed with a double to right. Bryceton Berry struck out six and gave up four hits and one run through the first six innings. Aidan Cook retired the side in order in the seventh with two strikeouts. Zach Allen singled in the third. For Irondequoit Post 134, Brennen Russo doubled with two outs in the top of the fourth and scored after Quentin Grimes reached on error on the following at-bat. Jack Kelly allowed five hits over 6.2 innings pitched. Tyler Cannon, Grimes and Justin Maier each had a hit.

GREECE POST 468 (14-0-1) 3 (GAME 2/8 INNINGS)
Greece Post’s Tyler Stack went 2-for-4 including a two-run double to tie the game at 2-all in the third. Stack plated Brian Tisa and Joe Sanna with one-out in the frame, before bringing home Sanna once more with a two-out single to tie it at 3-all in the fifth. Irondequoit Post’s Brennan Russo finished 3-for-4 with a leadoff home run to open the scoring in the bottom of the second. Zach Prior went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored when Jack Kelly reached on an error in the second. Parker Holden doubled in the first and scored after he reached on an error in the bottom of the third to give Irondequoit Post 134 a 3-2 lead. For Greece Post 468, Zach Allen struck out four batters and gave up three hits through the final three scoreless frames. Jeffrey Broadnax, Jaden Madrid and Brian Tisa each had a hit. For Irondequoit Post 134, Anthony Liberti struck out three and allowed four hits and three runs through 4.1 innings started. Tino Tiermini struck out one and gave up one hit through 3.2 scoreless innings. The game ended in the eighth due to darkness.

Matthew Papenfuss struck out nine batters over a complete game of 3-hit ball to lead James Cooke Post 931 in the win. The Canandaigua High School graduate retired 10 batters in order staring in the second and lasting into the fifth. Papenfuss did not allow a runner to advance beyond second base. Zach Worrall went 1-for-2 with a two-run double as part of James Cooke’s two-out rally in the fourth. Jameson Ricigliano singled to open the frame and Matthew Pawlicki doubled one out later, before both scoring when Andrew Stagnitto reached on an error in the inning. Ricigliano finished 3-for-4 with a double. Stagnitto and Brayden Ricigliano each had a hit. For Ely Fagan Post 1151, Evan Brock, Andrew Wilson and Sal Timpani combined for 17 strikeouts on the mound. Brock started the game with seven strikeouts and one walk allowed over three hitless innings. Wilson finished with six strikeouts and four hits given up over 2.1 innings of relief, and Timpani struck out four and allowed three hits over 1.2 innings. Caleb Koehler, Chucky Sobaszek and Colby Wilson each had a hit.
