Notre Dame-Batavia put up a four-spot in the fourth, but it was not enough as the Fighting Irish fell in the Class C NYS semifinals. In the frame, Ryan Fitzpatrick reached to lead off the inning, then singles from Jaden Sherwood and Chase Antinore set up an RBI walk from Jordan Welker. Sherwood trotted home on a passed ball and Fanara reached on an error, scoring Antiore and Welker to knot the game up at four. Fitzpatrick went 2-for-4 to lead the Fighting Irish in hits. Bryceton Berry doubled in the first. Berry also pitched five innings on the mound.

Nevaeh Ross went 2-for-2, scoring twice and driving one as Scio/Friendship advanced to the NYS Class D final. Ross hurled a two-hitter and did not allow a hit until the fourth inning. Ross also struck out eight of the first nine batters faced. The Golden Eagles scored twice in the first and fourth innings. Morghyn Ross and Logan Roberts both finished 2-for-3. Ross scored runs in the first and the fifth, as well as driving in Ross in the first to score the game’s first run. Nora Thompson went 1-for-2 and scored in the second. Kiaia Grover singled and drove in two runs. Avery Lamberson drove in one with a sacrifice bunt. Scio/Friendship advances to face Deposit-Hancock (IV) in the NYS Class D championship.
