Maria Gattercole struck out nine batters and allowed four hits over a complete game in the circle to help Honeoye Falls-Lima secure their third sectional title since 2019. Kate Dailor went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run with two outs in the fourth and a sacrifice fly in the first. Ellie Casler went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run to give the Cougars a 6-0 lead in the second. Maddy Fowler singled and drove home Emma Dunman and Casler to make it 3-0 in the first. Madison Schubach had a leadoff single and scored on an error in the frame, and the junior had a two-out double in the third. Madison Mucko went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored, and Dunman had a base hit and scored twice. For Our Lady of Mercy, Maddie Oleksyn plated Kate Abbamonte with a two-out double to get the Monarchs on the board in the third. Leah Sperry bunted home Kristen Crowley before scoring on an error in a three-run top of the fourth. Sperry struck out four through six innings. Abbamonte, Annika VanDamme and Ava Verdi each had a hit. Honeoye Falls-Lima will play Webster Thomas in the Class A qualifier on Tuesday for a spot in the 2023 NYSPHSAA Class A Far West Regional.
CLASS B1

Game MVP, Giana Mruczek struck out seven batters and allowed four hits and two walks in a complete game as Batavia claimed its second sectional title since 2013. The junior plated Julia Clark with a two-out single, before scoring on a 2-RBI single from Sophia Mintuto in the fourth. Lyndsey Grazioplene went 4-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base, and the senior reached safely six times. Drew Stevens broke a 2-all tie with a one-out RBI-single in the third, and the freshman walked and scored on a passed ball in the second. Arianna Almekinder drew a base-loaded walk to bring home Grazioplene to open the scoring in the second. Clark reached base four times, scored twice and stole two bases. For Waterloo, Ace Rogers and Brynn Rogers each had an RBI in the second to lead the Tigers. Kennedy Beniamino struck out four and gave up one hit and a walk in 3.1 innings of relief. Nadya Clingerman struck out four and gave up six hits through 3.2 innings. Logan Amidon, Beniamino and Clingerman each had a hit. The Blue Devils avenged a 6-4 loss to Waterloo in last year’s B1 title game.

Sadie Strauss struck out two batters and gave up a hit through two scoreless innings of relief to lead Addison to its second sectional title win since 2015. The junior had a single and an RBI. Makayla Miller struck out three and allowed three hits through five innings. Carley Wilson went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Bregan Jones went 2-for-3 with a double. Brooklynn Seiger went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Jillian Ames, Ava Knowles and Hadleigh Watson each had a hit. The Knights scored two runs each in the fifth and sixth to earn the comeback victory. The Knights have won their last four games. For Letchworth, Abbie DeRock struck out 13 and allowed nine hits and a walk through a complete game. Charitty Scott went 2-for-3, and Morgan Brace and Alexis Mitchell each had a hit. Addison will play Bolivar-Richburg in the Class B crossover game on Tuesday for a spot in the 2023 NYSPHSAA Class B Far West Regional.

Game MVP, Loretta Sorochty struck out 11 batters and gave up five hits over a complete game in the circle to lead Notre Dame-Batavia to its fifth sectional win since 2009. The junior went 2-for-5 with an RBI single in the first and a one-out double, before scoring in the sixth. Mia Treleaven went 2-for-4 with an RBI-single in the sixth and a run scored. Anna Panepento went 2-for-4 with an RBI-base-hit in the seventh, and Sonji Warner went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Kaydence Stehlar had an RBI-single in the third to make it 2-0. Emma Sisson added an RBI in the fifth, and Cayleigh Havens had a hit. For Lynonville, Brianna Smith went 1-for-2 with a 2-RBI double to plate Isabella Groves and Haley Shaffer in the seventh. Schaffer had a leadoff double in the seventh and struck out six over a complete game in the circle. Lorelei Dillenbeck, Groves and Brooke Robinson each had a hit. The Fighting Irish will play Scio/Friendship in the Class D crossover game on Tuesday for a spot in the 2023 NYSPHSAA Class D Far West Regional.

Nevaeh Ross struck out 14 batters and hurled a 2-hitter. The junior also went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored as Scio/Friendship cruised to its second-consecutive sectional title. Kiara Grover went 3-for-5 with six RBI, including a two-run home run in the third. Morghyn Ross went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three stolen bases. The freshman catcher threw out two runners on the base path. Kadence Donohue went 2-for-4 with an RBI-double in the third and three runs scored. Logan Roberts went 3-for-4 with an RBI-double in the fifth. Emily Lamberson plated Neveah Ross with an RBI-single to center field in the fourth. Kalie Lamberson and Nora Thompson each had an RBI. Avery Lamberson singled in the fourth. The team has won its last 12 games, dating back to April 24th. For Charles G. Finney, Kiara van der Jagt went 2-for-3 with a triple in the seventh. Scio/Friendship will face Notre Dame Batavia in the Class D crossover game for a spot in the 2023 NYSPHSAA Class D Far West Regional.
