The 2023 Section V Class A1 Softball bracket features eight Monroe County teams and one team from the Private-Parochial league. The tournament opens with games on May 20th, and closes with the championship game taking place on May 27th at Webster Schroeder High School.

With last year’s A1 sectional champion Webster Schroeder moving up to AA, there will be a different A1 champion than the year prior. Irondequoit, the No. 1 seed, has won eight of their last nine games. Bishop Kearney, the only non-Monroe County school in A1, boasts a 4-0 record against Monroe County teams this season.
