Paul Byrne hurled a complete game, taking a no-hitter into the seventh and fanning 12 as Sutherland won its sixth straight game. Byrne allowed four balls to leave the infield over the 25 batters faced while improving to 3-0 on the year. At the plate, Byrne had a one-out single in the fifth and came around to cross home on an error to open up the scoring for the Knights. Andrew Holvey finished 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the sixth. Ryan Munzinger and Max Vorassi both doubled. Jack Armanini tallied a hit. For Eastridge, Fred Ferrer Santiago threw all seven innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and struck out four. Ferrer Santiago also had the lone hit for the Lancers, a double in the seventh.

Greece Odyssey/Olympia Baseball celebrated its seniors on Tuesday. Persistent rain showers and a late rally from the opposition didn’t dampen the spirits. James Schlueter struck out three and turned in a workmanlike performance on the mound as host Odyssey/Olympia won for the fifth time in the past seven games. READ MORE.

Nolan Redhead finished 4-for-4 with two RBI and five runs scored to lead HAC. Oscar Bernfield and Salvatore Timpani both went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Timpani crossed home five times. Oliver Riveros and Anson Man went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two driven in. Enoch Bernfield finished 2-for-5 with three RBI. Sean Thody went 2-for-3. Ryan Curwin tallied a single and scored twice. For South Seneca/Romulus, AJ Denmark finished 3-for-4 and drove in two. Samual Dufour went 2-for-2 and scored twice. Jaden Unglich tallied an RBI. Simon Appleby drove in two.

Cody Forjone plated Mason Stone and Ethan Wood on a two-run walk off double in the bottom of the seventh as Newark erased an early six-run deficit. In the inning, Stone soaked up a hit by pitch and Wood dropped down a bunt single in the next at bat to set up the Forjone two-bagger. Forjone finished 2-for-3, driving in four and also came on in relief, throwing four one-hit innings and fanning nine to pick up the win. Dansville took the early lead via a six-run third inning. In the frame, Reid Martin and Cole Williams both drove in one on RBI singles, while Zaiden VanDurme-Blackmon drove in two on a base knock. Newark then responded with four of its own in the bottom half. Alex Bernardi smacked a two-run two-bagger and came around to score on a wild pitch. Nolan Rice drove in one with a single to round out the scoring in the inning. Rice finished 3-for-3 with two RBI. Max Youngman went 2-for-4 with a run scored for Newark. Ethan Wood went 2-for-3 and crossed home twice. Ethan Coleman and Jose Ventura both tallied hits for the Reds. For Dansville, Martin and VanDurme-Blackmon both went 2-for-4 with two runs scored. VanDurme-Blackmon also tallied three runs driven in. Nathaniel Gardner and Cole Williams tallied RBI singles. Mason Mann had a hit and scored a run.

Bronx Buchholz hurled a complete game, fanning nine as Batavia won its second straight and fourth of the last five. The Blue Devils used a three-run sixth inning to claim the lead for good. In the frame, Dane Dombrowski led off with a single, then back-to-back one-out walks by Jameson Motyka and Bronx Buchholz. Aidan Anderson then drove in two on a fielder’s choice in the next at bat. Maggio Buchholz drove in the final run of the inning on a sacrifice fly. Evan Alexander and Cole Grazioplene both tallied a hit for the Blue Devils. For Le Roy, Jackson Spezzano went 2-for-3 with two doubles and a run scored. Bryce Lathan and Ryan Higgins both finished 1-for-2. Lathan also tallied an RBI. Ryan Shirley went 1-for-1 and drove one in the game’s first run on a hit by pitch in the first. Alex Spezzano started and went 5.2 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and whiffing five. Adam Woodworth and Drew Strollo both tallied a hit to round out the hit column for the Oatkan Knights.

Tyler Rogers went 3-for-4, knocking in three to lead Bloomfield. Dredge Dredger and Kev Dredger both finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Grady Rogers drove in two and had two doubles, finishing 2-for-4. Braedon Smith and Gabe Ward tallied a hit and drove in one apiece. Ward pitched all six innings on the mound, allowing two runs on four hits and fanning nine. Joey Walsh tallied an RBI. For Naples, Traugott Uhlen went 2-for-3 to lead the Big Green Machine in hits. Cade Rathbun also tallied a hit.

Landon Stoddard chucked a complete game, fanning 11 and did not allow a run until the final frame. Stoddard had a single and an RBI at the plate. Zack Tillotson went 1-for-2 and had a double with two RBI. Evan Kingdon also was 1-for-2 with a single and an RBI. Case Cummins finished 2-for-3 and drove in one.

Bryceton Berry and Jimmy Fanara both went 3-for-3 with three runs driven in to lead the Fighting Irish. Jay Antinore finished 3-for-4 and scored three runs. Jordan Welker went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and drove in one. Jaden Sherwood was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Evan Fitzpatrick both tallied RBI hits for Notre Dame Batavia. Hayden Groff drove in three on a two-run double in the second and a walk in the fourth. Chase Cummings drove in one. For Pembroke, Chase Guzdek and Trey Newton finished 1-for-2. Guzdek’s run in the third inning was the first earned run allowed this season for Notre Dame Batavia. Anthony Abbatello scored the other Pembroke run in the first, which ended the Fighting Irish hurlers’ 14 inning scoreless streak. Jayden Bridge went 1-for-1 with a single in the first.
