Ty Van Epps singled on an 0-2 count in the bottom of the eighth inning that scored Josh Tantalo and gave Greece Odyssey/Olympia its third straight win. Van Epps finished the day with two singles, two drawn walks, and two RBI. Van Epps also picked up the win on the mound, throwing three and two third innings of relief and allowing one hit. After Greece got out to a 3-0 first inning lead thanks to RBI from Angelo Ubal, Van Epps, and Ezequiel Ofarril, Spencerport responded with four runs over the next two innings to take the lead. Spencerport would then take a 6-5 lead into the bottom of the sixth, but Ofarril scored on a passed ball to tie it at six for Greece. Ofarril finished his day with two singles and three runs scored. Ubal singled once and had a RBI. Alexander Frisone also singled and had a RBI. Tantalo singled. James Schlueter started on the mound for Greece and struck out five batters over four-and-a-third innings. Nicholas Freeville hit two doubles and a single and finished with three RBI for Spencerport. Shaun Cannon had three hits including a double and an RBI. Bryon Streb singled twice and had a RBI. Kyle Milburn had a RBI single. Lorenzo Tantalo and Frank Grad each singled.

Greece Athena sprung out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and never looked back on its way to a fifth straight win. Connor Osier singled twice and drove in a run in the first inning. Sammy Butera and Derrick Allen each had a single and a RBI, with Butera’s coming in the form of a sacrifice fly. Ben Weilart also had an RBI. Sammy Saucke singled. Allen started on the mound, and threw for five innings. Jeffery Broadnax and Nick McMahon each went 1-for-2 with an RBI for Hilton. Broadnax and Joe Sanna each doubled. Steven Kraus singled.

PITTSFORD SUTHERLAND (7-2) 2
Owen Osborne broke a 1-1 tie late in the fifth inning with an RBI single to lift Sutherland. Osborne finished his day with two singles including that RBI single that ended up winning the game for Sutherland. Colin MacLean earned the win on the rubber for Pittsford, striking out four over 5.1 innings. Nicholas Brand doubled. Mason Garcia and Ryan Munzinger each finished with a single. Michael Calogero threw a complete game for Aquinas and finished with four strikeouts. Calogero was also responsible for the RBI single that tied the game at in the top of the fifth inning. Tre Walker, Lucas Leone, Ryan Lewin and Jake Wiepert all finished with singles for the Little Irish.

Matthew Bartusek doubled and singled and finished with three RBI for Fairport in a loss that saw the Red Raiders get out to a 7-3 lead in the fourth inning. Samuel Miller struck out five on the mound in addition to hitting a home run in the third inning. Antonio Jorge singled and brought two runners home. Will Stanek had two hits, being a double and a single. Scott Thompson had a single and earned a RBI off drawing a walk in the first inning.

Nathan Brinza drove home nine RBI in his four a-bats for Canandaigua, finishing with a grand slam, a three-run home run and a single. The sophomore tied two school records, including RBI in a game and grand slams in a career (1). Jackson Clark doubled and had three singles, finishing with three RBI. Russell Barone doubled and singled on his way to a pair of RBI. Joshua Barnes added a pair of doubles and a pair of RBI. Finn Conklin singled twice and had a RBI. Jonathan Mohammed singled and scored two runners. William Smith had a RBI. Matthew Papenfuss had a single. Aaron Crunick threw five innings to earn the win for Canandaigua. Cody Costello doubled, singled, and scored a runner for Wellsville. Cooper Brockway had a RBI single. Alex Green singled twice, and Aiden Cowburn singled.

Ryan Whitney finished 2-for-4 with three RBI while Ethan Bennett went 2-for-4 with two runs scored to lead Geneseo. Whitney highlighted a four-run second inning with a double that scored Brady O’Brien and Willem Schiener to give the Blue Devils a lead they did not surrender at 5-1. Luke Davis started and struck out six over four innings of work The sophomore gave up two hits and three walks. O’Brien singled and drove in two runs. Phillip Dotterweich tripled. James Hy was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored. Honeoye’s Evan Cuba went 4-for-4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI. William Covey doubled and drove in two runs. John Gawel doubled and scored for the Bulldogs.

Jack Frank threw six innings for Cuba-Rushford, striking out 11 and only giving up one hit in the win. Eli Sleggs went 3-for-4 on the day for Cuba-Rushford, tallying four RBI and two runs scored. Sleggs had singles in the first and second innings when the Rebels scored three runs in each inning. Jacob Smith had an RBI double in the seventh inning and drew three walks. On the mound, Smith struck out in one inning of relief.

Fillmore used four runs in the sixth inning to break a 6-6 tie in the win. Brent Zubikowski finished with a double, a single, and an RBI in his four at-bats. James Hillman singled and brought two runners home off the end of his bat. Kalen Beardsley and Zach Sisson each doubled and had a RBI. Luke Colombo threw four innings on the mound and struck out five. Mitchell Ward singled, and also threw three scoreless innings of relief striking out three batters. Nolan Krzeminski singled twice.

Owen’s name was misspelled.
It is “Osborne” without a “u”.
