Imagine RIT Tuesday Softball Wrap: Hammerle paces Spencerport to first win; Davila, Robinson spark School of the Arts

OUR LADY OF MERCY (1-1) 3
Madison Fleck, Courtney Hammerle and Paige Stein combined for seven RBI and six base knocks to lead Spencerport to its first win of the season. Hammerle paced the onslaught with two singles, a run-scoring double and reaching on an error. The junior outfielder collected a trio of runs driven in and scored twice. Fleck and Stein both recorded a pair of RBI. Fleck singled twice, including one which accounted for both of her runs driven in during the seventh inning. The senior infielder crossed the plate three times. Stein posted a base knock, sacrifice fly and reached on an error which resulted in a run. Stein touched the plate twice as well. Sydney Collier tossed a complete game on 101 pitches and helped her own cause with a pair of singles and a run scored. For Our Lady Of Mercy, Kirsten Crowley and Rowan Hennessy both led with a base knock and RBI. Maddie Oleksyn and Ella Sconfietti both notched a pair of hits.

SCHOOL OF THE ARTS (1-1) 32
EAST (1-3) 12 (5 INNINGS)
Taialise Davila and Amarah Brooklynn Robinson all finished one hit shy of the cycle to ignite an offensive outburst for School Of The Arts. Davila romped with a single, double, triple, walk and three runs scored. Robinson set the tempo from the leadoff spot with a trio of extra-base knocks: a double, triple and home run. The junior utility player scored three times as well. Aimei Jean Louise Hall, Ada Reddington and Hope Reddington all went deep. Davila, Maryn Mercendetti DeRock and Ada Reddington all scored four runs each. For East High, Jessica Rose Conrow and Ana Fontan both notched a trio of base knocks. Conrow singled twice, doubled and crossed the plate three times. Fontan legged out two doubles and a single and scored once.

MYNDERSE (1-3) 1
BLOOMFIELD (3-0) 12 (4 INNINGS)
Emma Macartney and Calla McCombs combined for five runs batted in on two hits as Bloomfield did all of its scoring in the first three innings. McCombs added three runs scored and a walk. Brianna Leitten and Abby O’Brien both added an RBI and combined for five walks. Sophomore pitcher Ashlyn Wright whiffed eight batters in four hitless frames.

DUNDEE/BRADFORD (3-1) 11
SOUTH SENECA/ROMULUS (0-1) 4
Dundee/Bradford totaled 12 hits. Addie Kendall, Morgan Sutryk and Kailey Yeoman each racked up multiple hits. Kendall led with three hits in five at-bats. Sutryk and Yeoman both swiped four bases. Adalyn Tham allowed one hit and one run over 5 2/3 five innings, striking out six.
