Wes Sturrup hurled six innings, allowing four runs and striking out five as Brighton snapped a two-game skid. Sturrup added a single and crossed home four times from the offensive side. Grady Hopkin drove in four on three singles, including a two-RBI knock in the third to pace the Bruin offense. Carter Sloan followed up with a single that drove in Hopkin in the third. Will Pecor cracked two singles, drew a walk and scored twice for Brighton. John Ahrens and Nolan Bonnell also had singles of their own. Kyle Markham went 3-for-4 with three singles for East. Dabdiel Ramos tripled and scored in the fourth for the Eagles. Yoelvis Cabrera singled, walked and crossed home plate twice. Carlos Gaston drove in two. Justus Robinson and Emille Diaz both singled.

Michael Angelou Alvarez homered, doubled, walked, reached base all four times he came to the plate and scored four runs to lead Edison to its second straight win. Jose Miguel Alvarez singled, doubled, reached base four times and crossed home three times. Leandro Benoit doubled, walked, was hit by a pitch and scored three runs. Derek Xavier Torres Hernandez went 4-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs scored. Junior Javier and Luis Cruz both singled and scored twice.

Eddie Frusci and Shane Talbot were a home run away from the cycle as Webster Thomas won its third straight game. Frusci also had four RBI in the winning effort, while Talbot scored four runs and drove in one. Nate Hill hit two singles and crossed home four times as well. Joey Baller had a hit and three RBI. Justin Sykes and Dominic Tamburrino both had two RBI doubles. Tamburrino also was credited with the win, going four innings allowing two earned runs and striking out five. Alex Dungey and Ben Horvath came in relief and combined for six punch-outs over three innings.

Spencerport exploded for eight runs in the top of the seventh to remain unbeaten. The Rangers sent 12 batters to the plate and racked up seven singles in the inning. Shaun Cannon had a double and two singles, driving in two to lead the Spencerport offense. Cannon was also credited with the win after pitching the final two innings without allowing a hit. Zach Lamberton followed with three hits and two RBI as well. Kyle Milburn and Bryon Streb both drove in two and scored twice. Cian O’Keefe crossed home and singled twice. Frank Grad also had two hits for the Rangers. Noah Barrevecchia and Nicholas Freville both tallied one hit to round out the hit column for Spencerport. David D’Ambrosia had two hits, drew two walks and drove in one for Brockport. Brayden Scaccia, Kaeden Laureano and Nathan Parker each tallied a hit for the Blue Devils. Cooper Harvey had an RBI. Zack Richards walked three times.

Newark scored runs in its last three at-bats to fend off Wayne and win its first game of the season. Ethan Coleman started and went five innings for the Reds, four of which were scoreless, allowing five runs (three earned) and striking out two. After a sacrifice fly by Nolan Rice in the second, Newark reached base six straight times, including three doubles from Mason Stone, Cody Forjone and Max Youngman that drove in four runs in total to put Newark up 5-0. Wayne responded in the next inning by scoring five of their own via RBI singles by Dier Jared and Tyler Mudge, as well as a sacrifice fly and a reached on error. Coleman singled in the fourth to put the Reds back on top and never looked back. Mason Stone had a single and scored twice in addition to his double. Mason Jorgenson and Nolan Rice both drove in two.

Brady Emerson was the winning pitcher, tossing 4.2 innings and striking out six as Penn Yan improved its record to .500. Brady and Reed Bouchard combined for three hits, two RBI, two stolen bases and five runs scored in the winning effort. Liam Chapman had a hit, three walks and three stolen bases. For Waterloo, Casey Burcroff, Devin Mulvey-Salerno and Hayden Linehan each had a hit. Linehan and Burcroff both stole a base, whereas Mulvey-Salerno swiped two bags along with two RBI. Linehan also had two RBI.

Gates Miller hurled a one-hit shutout and struck out five as Hornell won its first game of the year. At the plate, Miller hit two singles, knocked in two RBI and crossed home once. Davin Oyer had a double and a single, as well as an RBI and a run scored. Wyatt Argentieri connected on a triple and a single along with driving in one. Andy Davis and Shawn Rose both had a hit and two runs scored. Jake Ponticello had a single.

Alex Schuster connected on a three-run single as part of a five-run fourth inning as Dansville won its home opener. In the fourth, the Mustangs saw seven runners reach base after a leadoff pop out to fuel the inning. Reid Martin and Aiden Ziefel each had RBI singles in the frame. Martin also started and went 3.1 innings on the mound, along with squaring up a leadoff, solo home run in the bottom of the first. Schuster also doubled in a run in the bottom of the sixth to add insurance. Cole Williams drove in Schuster in the next at-bat. Williams also had two singles with one driving in a run in the bottom of the first. Mason Mann relieved Martin, striking out four over 3.2 innings. Mann also went 2-3 and crossed home three times. For Livonia, Conner Benitez doubled in the first, driving in one and had an RBI single in the fourth. Benitez also struck out five in 2.2 innings of relief. Aiden O’Keefe reached safely in all four plate appearances, racking up two singles,two walks and two stolen bases. Tom Stewart, Brady O’Keefe and Connor Feehan all singled and scored.

Tyler Arno twirled a gem, striking out nine and allowing two runs on four hits over six innings as Geneva rolled to its first win of the year. The Panthers scored seven runs in the sixth and seventh combined to pull away for good. In the sixth, Konnor Guererri drove in two on a single to center field and Andrew Avedisian and Arno followed with RBI singles of their own. Jovani Parmelee singled in the seventh, scoring two for the Panthers and tallied three RBI on the day. Gavin Brignall, Daniel Carter and Lucas Springer had two hits. Jacob Turturro roped a double. Joey Hart singled in the seventh. For Palmyra-Macedon, Brennan Pipitone and Isiah Stephens both drove in one. Noah Brooks and Ian Goodness connected on a double apiece. Christian Morrison singled and scored.

Mike Gammell allowed three hits, struck out ten and was credited with the win as Wayland-Cohocton improved to 2-0. Ethan Loop connected on three hits and tallied two RBI for the Eagles. Markus Brehm also had two hits of his own. For Le Roy, Alex Spezzano hurled five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and striking out nine. Ryan Higgins paced the Oatkan-Knight offense with two hits and an RBI. Bryce Lathan also tallied a hit.

Logan Bulman pitched six innings, striking out 12 as Sodus remained unbeaten. Bulman helped his cause from the plate, going 3-for-4 with 4 RBI. Jacob Laird added two hits, including one double and three RBI. Braeden Tuper had two RBI, two hits and two stolen bases. Garett Barron was 2-2. Evan Laird reached base all four times via three walks and one hit. Matt DeFisher scored the only Williamson run on a Blake Giglio single in the first.

Evan Masten threw a complete game, allowing just one run on two hits and struck out a dozen as Avon cruised to its first win of the year. Christopher Kashorek went a perfect 4-4 with two triples, plating two and came around to score twice for the Braves. Jack Ruter laced two doubles and crossed home twice. Cael Driscoll singled along with driving in one and scored twice. Richie Brice added two RBI of his own and had a single. Chris Shearing went 1-3 for Letchworth and scored the lone run on an RBI double from Adam Halsey.

Oakfield-Alabama used a clutch, RBI infield single in the sixth inning from Shaun Alexander to win its opening contest. Bodie Hyde started on the mound for the Hornets and went five innings, surrendering five hits on three runs and striking out five. Kyle Porter threw two no-hit innings in relief for the save. Brayden Smith and Colton Yasses each had a hit. Richard Keppler and Brody Fry had a hat and an RBI for Medina. Aidan Paul scored two runs and Ryleigh Culver reached base in all of his plate appearances.

Brodie Hatfield had a double, a single and two RBI in the win for York. Liam Ezard also had a double and a single, as well as scoring three runs. Carl Szczech had two doubles and an RBI.

Phillip Dotterweich, Ryan Whitney, James Hy and Luke Davis combined for a no-hitter as Geneseo improved to 2-0. Ethan Bennett paced the Blue Devil offense, smacking two hits, including a double, and racked up three RBI. Ryan Whitney had a hit and two RBI to contribute as well. Brady O’Brien drove home two. Sam Chanler and Kellen O’Brien both singled. Cooper Warner walked three times and James Hy had an RBI.

Bolivar-Richburg scored five runs in an inning twice, as the Wolverines snapped an opening two-game skid. Reiss Gaines led the way on the RBI sheet, tallying three with a hit to go with it. Evan Pinney followed suit with two RBI of his own, adding a triple as well as crossing home twice. Caden Allen strung together three hits, including one double and scored three times for the Wolverines. Trey Buchholz threw three no-hit innings, striking out four as well as adding two singles at the plate and three stolen bases. Landon Barkley had a hit, an RBI, a walk and a run scored.

Haden Abbott threw a complete game, three-hitter as Avoca/Prattsburgh used a seven-run fourth inning to win its fifth straight game. Abbott struck out seven and went 1-2 with a double, an RBI and stole three bases. Macoy Putnam, Jamel Crowder and Sawyer Devoe each scored twice and connected with two hits. Putnam led the way with 4 RBI. Josiah Stilson walked in all three plate appearances and scored on two of them. Keshequa scored its lone run on an RBI double by Aiden Upright in the top of the first.
