Caydence Hadley finished sixth in the entire Rochester area in rebounding and was an integral cog of a Bishop Kearney core which advanced to the sectional semifinals. Audrey Hintz paced the division in scoring and ignited Our Lady Of Mercy to the semis as well. Alayna Garwood sparked Northstar Christian to the No. 2 seed in sectionals. The pair of senior centers shared Player of the Year honors as announced by the Private-Parochial League.
Hadley accumulated 240 rebounds in 19 games played (12.6 rebounds per game), three behind teammate Allie Hall, to earn co-Division I honors. The senior forward posted 13.0 points per game for a double-double as well along with 3.7 blocks, 2.2 assists and 1.6 steals. Hadley tallied 12 double-doubles this season, her best performance coming on February 8th in an 81-44 win over Our Lady Of Mercy in which she had 31 points, 16 boards, six rejections, three dimes and a trio of thefts. Overall, the 6-foot-1 senior averaged 16.4 points and 13.4 rebounds in games she posted a double-double as the Kings sported a 12-0 record.
Hadley grappled a season-high 17 rebounds as well on December 17th in a 64-58 victory over Fairport along with 21 points, four swats, two assists and a steal. The senior forward was one of four Kings averaging double figures for a squad scoring 63.1 points and holding opponents to 46.1 en route to a 16-4 record.

Teammates Hall, Klarissa Goode, Amaia Jackson and Asia Wilson joined Hadley on the Private-Parochial Division I All-League Team. Jackson led the Kings in scoring with 15.4 points while Wilson finished right behind her at 13.7. Jackson corralled seven boards, swiped 3.8 steals and dished out 3.6 assists as well. Wilson added 4.6 rebounds, four dimes and 2.9 swipes. Goode tallied team-highs of 113 assists (5.9 per game) and 75 steals (four per game) and averaged 12.2 points and 4.1 boards. Hall finished just shy of averaging a double-double with nine points and 13.5 rebounds plus 3.2 blocks and one assist.
Hintz poured 327 points in 22 games played (14.9 points per game) to earn co-Division I honors. The senior center posted 9.5 rebounds, 3.4 blocks, 1.7 steals and 1.1 assists as well. Hintz’s scoring binge included five 20-point games and one 30-point game. In the sectional quarterfinals, Hintz dominated with a season-high 33 points in a 68-62 victory over Honeoye Falls-Lima. The 6-foot-1 senior accounted for 17 in the first half when the Monarchs outscored the Cougars, 34-22, and finished with seven rebounds and five blocks. The captain went 5-of-7 from the foul line and poured nine points in a 25-all fourth quarter as well.
Hintz’s five 20-point games consisted of 22 points on December 28th at Livonia, 25 points twice (December 29th in a 70-39 win over Elba and February 10th against Williamsville South (VI)), 20 points on January 12th at Webster Schroeder and 23 points on January 21st in a 60-35 win over Nardin (Monsignor Martin). The senior center tallied nine double-doubles and two triple-doubles as well. Hintz’s triple-doubles occurred on January 10th at Honeoye Falls-Lima when she recorded 19 points, 18 rebounds and 10 blocks and February 15th in a 46-38 win over Livonia in which she posted 19 points, 10 boards and 10 rejections.
Hintz’s efforts resulted in the Monarchs sporting 10 wins and progressing to the sectional semifinals as the No. 12 seed in class A.
Teammates Mia Lusardi and Brooke Wormley joined Hintz on the Private-Parochial Division I All-League Team. Lusardi and Wormley were second and third on the Monarchs in scoring with 6.3 points and 4.9 points per game, respectively. Lusardi contributed 2.4 steals, 2.3 assists and 1.5 rebounds. Wormley chipped in 2.6 boards, 1.7 swipes and 1.2 dimes.
Loren Green, Jade Harvey, Molly O’Toole and Ajayah Orr rounded out the Private-Parochial Division I All-League First Team for Aquinas. O’Toole led the L’il Irish in scoring (316 points in 19 games played for 16.6 points per contest) and added 3.6 rebounds. Orr was second on the team with 15.2 points, 2.5 boards and 2.2 steals. Green scored 13.0 points per game. Harvey grabbed a team-high 4.8 rebounds and notched 5.7 points and 1.1 swipes.
Garwood led the Knights with 24.1 points and 14.3 rebounds to earn Division II Player of the Year honors. The senior center has notched 1,284 varsity points and 894 career rebounds so far. Garwood holds the program record for most boards in a game with 28 as well, notched during her sophomore season. The junior center paced a Northstar squad which averaged 44.8 points and held opponents to 41.9 en route to a 13-7 record.
Allie Frederickson and Kiara Van Der Jagt made the Division II First Team for C. G. Finney. Van Der Jagt led the Falcons with 10.7 points. Frederickson averaged 7.6 points per game.
Tae Dukes (Rochester Academy), Alyssa Marsh (Lima Christian) and Jade Riveria (Rochester Prep) rounded out the list for the Division II First Team. Marsh paced the Saints with 19.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.8 steals and 2.3 assists per game.
