How they arrived here: Pembroke beat No. 8 Alexander, 81-55, in the quarterfinals and No. 5 Bolivar-Richburg, 61-39, in the semifinals. York overcame No. 7 Perry, 78-38, in the quarterfinals and No. 3 Oakfield-Alabama, 64-59, in the semifinals.

History 101: Pembroke is looking to win its first sectional title in program history. The Dragons advanced to the 2018 Class C1 title game. When Pembroke takes the floor against York, it will be just under three months since its last loss. York won the 2022 Class C3 championship and will be looking for its fourth championship in program history.
