Freeman was one of two Bulldogs with a double-double, hauling in 10 rebounds and dishing out five assists. The senior guard ignited his peers with 17 first-half points and totaled 9-of-13 free throws as well. Goins came alive for all of his points after the opening period in which the Bulldogs led, 18-13. Ryan Deuel netted nine of his team-high 20 points during a 14-3 run to close the third quarter, and Mendon went on to win its third straight game. Trailing 37-34, Deuel connected twice from behind the 3-point arc during the decisive run. Matt Woods also hit from distance for the Vikings which took a 48-40 lead into the fourth quarter. Deuel and Jackson Green (18) scored six points apiece in the opening quarter when Mendon grabbed a 14-12 edge. Mendon led 29-27 at halftime. The Vikings defense allowed only one 3-pointer on the night. Mike Bischoping had 11 points, while Woods 10 and London Hoyser six to round out the scoring for Mendon. Irondequoit’s Ryan Heath finished with a game-high 26 followed by Kenyen Lovett’s 13 and nine from Xavier Gissendanner. The Rams cut the lead 57-55 with three minutes left, but the Bulldogs would go on a 9-3 run to seal the victory. The Bulldogs went 9-of-13 from the line in the fourth. Senior forward Chris Coyle led with 19 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Sophomore guard Nicholas Coyle had a career-high 15 points, four dimes and three steals. Junior guard Connor Feehan had 14 points, three thefts and three assists. Jackson Cook scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds.
