Three straight goals propelled Pittsford to its third straight victory. Cole Mann tallied a season-high two-goal performance to net the first two Panther goals. Ryan Munzinger found Mann for the senior’s first goal 77 seconds into the contest. Mann then connected on the powerplay three and a half minutes into the second period with assists from David Pollard and Keegan Garver. Will Masaschi struck for the Panthers three minutes into the third period with an unassisted short-handed marker. Drew Ricketts tallied his first varsity goal with an empty netter with seven seconds to go into the contest. Aden Brown stopped 25 of 26 shots for Pittsford. Ethan Muroski scored the lone Penfield goal on the powerplay with assists from Thomas Obstarczyk and Angelo Latore.
BATAVIA NOTRE DAME UNITED (11-4-0) 5
CANANDAIGUA (3-11-2) 1
Batavia Notre Dame scored five unanswered goals en route to a bounce-back victory. Ivan Milovidov started the five-goal streak with a powerplay marker seven seconds into the second period with assists from Cooper Hamilton and Alex Johnson. Brady Johnson scored a goal under three minutes into the third period with assists from Milovidov and Jameson Motyka. Motyka scored two straight goals within three minutes of each other. Ronin Hofmaster tallied an assist on Motyka’s first goal while Milovidov picked his second assist on the sophomore’s second goal. Hamilton found the back of the net late for the United on the powerplay with some help from Hofmaster and Brady Johnson. DJ Spychalski scored the lone Canandaigua goal to open up the scoring in the contest. Josh Barnes assisted on the goal.

MASSENA CENTRAL (X) 1
Simon Kowal’s two powerplay goals helped Victor win its second game in a row. Kowal connected on the powerplay late in the second and third periods. Michael Peluso assisted on both powerplay tallies while Drew McCandless helped on the first goal and Asher Erwin assisted on the second. Charlie Seiler scored his first varsity goal to open up the scoring five and a half minutes into the contest. Aiden Cox-Bagley and Nic Figler assisted on the milestone goal. Dylan Weldon scored a powerplay marker with assists from McCandless and Peluso. Erwin scored an unassisted goal late in the second period to give the Blue Devils a 4-0 lead. Victory finished the contest 3-6 with the man advantage. Massena Central added a powerplay goal of their own midway through the third period.

Matt Kozara scored the first goal for McQuaid with under seven minutes to go in the first period. Evan Kopacz scored the second Knights goal with 7:15 remaining in the third period.

SPARTAN HOCKEY (9-5-2) 3
Keegan Waldo tallied his first shutout of the season for Spartan Hockey. Mason Wright scored the first goal of the game with 1:16 remaining in the second period. Mikey Valent found the back of the net for the 30th time this season 15 seconds into the third period. Valent’s 30 goals lead all of Section V.

Max Pitts and Nathan MacBride combined for a 12-save shutout to extend Victor’s winning streak to three games. Jackson Guck led the way for the Blue Devils with a four-point performance. Guck found the back of the net twice within three minutes in the first period. The senior also added two assists. Aiden Cox-Bagley opened the scoring just over a minute into the contest with assists from Asher Erwin and Guck. The next two goals came from Guck. Nick Czornobil tallied his first varsity point with an assist on Guck’s first goal and Simon Kowal also had a helper as well. Cox-Bagely and Michael Peluso assisted on the second marker. Kowal found the back of the net himself with some help from Guck. Caleb Clark scored on the powerplay late in the second period with assists from Kowal and Drew McCandless. Erwin scored as well with a goal two minutes after the powerplay marker with an assist from Pitts. The Blue Devils finished the game 1-7 on the powerplay.

Ryan Brown tallied four goals to help WFL win its second straight game. Brown found the back of the net once in the first period, twice in the second, and once in the third period. The senior forward also tallied an assist for a five-point performance. Lucas Springer also tallied five points for the Panthers. Springer found the back of the net and recorded four assists. Leo Cohrs and Isaac Pundt scored twice for WFL. Pundt also recorded an assist. Collin Trapiss registered a goal and an assist. Tyler Bruder, Ryan Allen, Seth Palmer, and Andrew McFadden recorded assists for the Panthers. Dylan Carey tallied a career-high six-point performance for Irondequoit. Carey scored a hat trick and assisted on three goals for the Eagles. Sam Crane tallied five points with a goal and four assists. Tommy Holve and Taylor Filighera also scored for the Eagles.

Mike Dossier scored the lone Aquinas goal unassisted in the loss.

Jameson Motyka’s two goals helped Batavia Notre Dame win back-to-back games. Motyka scored the game’s opening goal three and a half minutes in with assists from Brady Johnson and Ivan Milovidov. Milovidov scored just under 11 minutes into the second period. Motyka and Ronin Hofmaster assisted on the goal. Motyka scored his second goal early in the third period with assists from Johnson and Noah Whitcombe. Cooper Hamilton scored the final United goal late in the third period with an assist from Johnson. Jason Tucker scored the first Webster Thomas goal to tie the game almost ten minutes into the second period. Greg VanHeusen picked an assist on the goal. Brady Hall scored the second Titans’ goal with an assist from Evan Shaw.
