In all, five different players contributed to the scoring.
“Ball movement, that’s our biggest thing,” Banks said. “We had ball movement. We played together as a family. Once we start seeing open teammates, we can get it to the open player. When we move without the ball, we get the extra pass and get good shots.
With the win, SOTA improved to 5 wins without a loss.
“I am happy that we are 5-and-O,” Banks noted. “We just got to do some fine tuning to try and continue to go to the next level. We can definitely step it up a little bit on defense.”
Williams led all scorers with 24 points. The senior collected 10 rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Logan, the reigning RCAC Player of the Year, connected four times from distance and scored 20 points. She had eight rebounds, two assists and a steal.
“Her leadership skills have definitely risen to the top this year,” Banks said of the senior guard who has focused on her defense and shot selection in practice. “With her, Maya and a couple others, they want to go to college, play college ball. They want to go to the WNBA. That’s what we’re focused on.”
